I reckon that Ian Shubert will come out and announce that all 14 teams excluding the Roosters are over the cap.

If we do get done, its the State Government working its magic.

How would the state govt be to blame if you guys are overpaying players? Their review into your organisation is just bringing these things to light. It just goes to show that the NRL is unable to find these things, it's only by chance when a third party interveens to show the dodgey deals.

If it was any club it would have to be the Roosters though.

It's probably a beat-up for a very minor, technical cap breach like the ones Melbourne & the Tigers have been done for in the past...

Cheers,

What part of " And before all you Roosters fans start ripping up your grand final tickets, contrary to rumours your club is not one of the two under scrutiny." didn't you understand?

I'll reinterate, if Penrith get done with who we have on our roster, its f**king bullshit!

and if we do, it'd be because of Mr Bob Carr and his Cronies

Big Mick - those who feel the need can deflect the rumour all they like. But perhaps they should try and deflect it to a club that it hasn't already been stated as a club not affected by it.

I hope it's not Penrith as I like the Panthers, but at least us Dogs fans were no so naive as to blame the government for our cap problems. The blame (as it was with The Bulldogs) is to be laid solely at the feet of the administration of the club.

Huh? ](*,)

The relatively simple task of balancing the books so top 25 players wages stay under $3.25mil ($3.55 with allowances), and that any others who play first grade come in at under $300K would be the government's fault how?

Start sweating guys & girls - if you read the article in the Mole's colum in RLW then two clubs are looking like they are in the deep doo doo!! and guess what - the Roosters are not included in the two - who could they be? Seems like (if the Mole is right) that points will be striped..wow again??

Who could the two teams be??

The Mole seldom gets things right. Even then he gets a lot of info from sources in the rumour mill.

Nobody wants another Bulldogs scandal, even if its not the Roosters, but some fans will probably wake up to themselves if infact their club is one of these rumoured.
