Now Available on DVD Parramatta Vs Bulldogs GFQ 2009

Hi Guys,

I was down at the BGA Store today and picked up a copy of the Parra Vs Bulldogs Grand Final Qualifer on DVD.

It is $30 and has the FOX SPORTS coverage of the Game.

The DVD appears to be a mass burnt DVD and not a stamped on (it is purple instead of silver).

So until the BGA online store gets online, I guess you will have to trot on down to the New BGA Store.

Meh, I prefer the Channel 9 commentary to Fox Sports, so Ill stick with the DVD I burnt myself. Its good that theyre selling this game though.

Tbh I think it's embarrassing that anyone at theclub thought winning this game was a big enough deal to make a DVD of it fir sale.

Embarrasing part is that they couldn't put in 5 more games and make it a "2009 run to the finals" dvd.

It always bothered me that the game was always billed as the Sydney GF.
As much as I loved the game , the atmosphere, the crowd and the result , I always felt that the winner was always gonna struggle to get back "up" to that level for the GF.
Any way , better value is the 2009 season highlights DVD , which in itself is a tribute to " near enough is good enough"

Also remember Nix saying if we don't score by the 50th min then we are shot..Burty scores about 49:50 or thereabouts.

Man that feeling at fulltime of that game goes with me to the grave....pure joy.

One of the best ever images I have ever seen is when the clock is counting down and the last drop out was going to be taken and the crowd is going off by this stage....the camera gets Hindy...all business the game is not over and the job is not done but in the background the crowd is just out of their collective trees.

One of the most satisfying things at the game was looking at the northern end and seeing it more than three quarters empty after Morts scored. Not unlike what happened @ Kogarah after the Burty field goal -
" you know you've got the game by the throat when you can hear the turnstiles clicking as they leave the ground! "

Buying the 2009 Season Highlights DVD is much better value than that. And at 2+ hours, it is excellent viewing - almost!

I didn't really rate their 2007 side. They seemed lame (Stricken by age & injury) to me. Last years side was fairly good in comparison.

01 we were beaten by an absolute Champion and last year was by a Champion team. I don't think we should carry scars from this game though.
