Partner follows Saints ;-)
Me too :( lol
Both > Dogs.

Interesting that you are bagging Souths for having 50 put past us when, if memory serves me correctly, we put nearly 40 past the Dogs earlier this year. That win was actually the catalyst for our good for and against which is what is holding us in the top 8.

Thanks Doggies....
Happy to take my lumps, the 'Dogs have underperformed this year. Still doesn't excuse Souths fans having a dig at Dragons fans for a perceived lack of success. Given a choice between their team and yours, I'd rather theirs.

I wasn't aware that their was some sort of pecking order with regard to joking on the internet. I always just thought that it was open slather. Ironic comment coming from you, regardless because you tend to stick your bib in everywhere. This conversation being a good example.

Sticking my bib in? I started the thread

Irrespective of that, there's no pecking order whatsoever, I just happen to think a Souths fan bagging Dragons fans is quite hilarious.

Anyone hear the lady who rang Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyy today
Said she Q'd at the Enmore theatre and that some scalper was giving homeless people envelopes with cash and info so they could buy tickets and have the addresses registered etc. Some memberships are $50 for kids, so the touts buy a ton of memberships, never use em but can buy 4 tickets per membership for each of the 50 bodgy kids they have signed up, who don't even exist.
Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayy asked how she knew they were homeless and she said they dressed bad, smelt, had bad teeth etc. Given she was in enmore, soufs are 8th (which is about 8 places higher than usual) and they had No Fixed Address, my tip is it was just soufs fans getting a bit excited

We can't afford to buy Grand Final tickets. We are homeless and jobless remember....

I beg to differ.

Their were plenty on E-Bay last year going cheap as long as you were willing to pick up around Kogarah way.

Nice retort btw. As I was typing the op, I did so knowing that-

a. Dragons fans couldn't help but bite, even though it was obviously a joke. Clearly marked by the little :D at the end, and

b. Said Dragons fans would go straight to the front page of the Souths joke book and reference either the Dole or Drugs or Metho or one of the many other stereotypes.

Nice work. When I pick up a bag of "Dragons Premier's" rags (or T-Shirts for Dragons fans) from Kogarah Leagues at $2 for 50 in a few months time, I'll send one your way for being such a good sport.

My most sincere apologies, I wasn't aware that it was only souths supporters who could reply with humour/sarcasm.

That really pissed me of this morning because it cost me & everybody else lining up the chance to get decent seats.
I got there at 6am and I was lined up behind the 4 homeless guys who had been there since midnight and they definitely were homeless.
A guy cash turned up at about 8am and took the place in line of 1 of the homeless guys & at 9am gave the other 3 an envelope (with $1000 written on it), membership cards (doggies & warriors I believe) and a piece of paper with a name, address & phone number to recite to the ticktek girl when they were asked for it.
The girl behind the counter wasn’t the quickest but it was made worse by this lowlife & his 3 drooling vegetables got 6-8 tickets each.

I doubt you looked last year because a team called Parramatta made the grand final (not souths) and ebay prices exceeded 1K per seat hahahaha

I wouldn't waste your time trying to explain anything. I can only summise that he is your stereotypical bunnies supporter. He won't understand any numerical concept above 10. If he is a really smart one he'll discover his toes and manage to get to 20. I know I made a tidy profit from my tickets last year, & if we fail to qualify again, Ill make another nice profit.

hence why I said last year that Peter Doust should have called AMI cause he went off too quickly.

I have been to the grand final for 6 years in a row now (ever since 2004) and I don't really care about scalpers tbh. You have more than enough chance to get a ticket, and i'm sick to death of hearing bandwagon fans complaining about missing out, when in fact they have probably attended 1 club game all year, if that. If your team is going good at this time of the year, or if you are an NRL fan in general, grab a ticket. If not, you can always use the members priority window the week of the grand final if you are a big enough fan to be a season ticket holder. Otherwise you can always pay some poor bugger who's team bombed out $1000 for your ticket because you jumped on the bandwagon a few weeks ago. I loved the fact that I knew people last year who paid $4000 for 5 seats to the grand final sitting in the clouds on level 6 in ANZ stadium, only to see the eels lose. Best thing was they didn't attend a single game prior to that in 2009.

At the Ticketek at penrith you didn't need to qoute numbers, show your pass or anything. Anybody could have walked in off the street and bought grand final tickets.

I'm not a season ticket holder for my club for specific reasons ... I go to 10-12 games a season (so roughly every 2nd week or so), but currently have no interest in purchasing a season ticket. Reasons are not relevant to this forum.

I am a NRL.com member, though, and I remember they get a priority period ahead of the general public.

Does anyone know what date that is from and to??

Edit: Found it on the website:

Agree with both of these. There is plenty of opportunity to get some tickets.

If the Dragons get knocked out again I will just make a very nice profit like I did last year

Was about to ask when non ticketed members could buy tickets and at the time of opening this reply box got an email from the club telling me it's tomorrow :)

Happy days. I booked my flights and accomodation already. Just need a ticket now!!
