Please think of the children, every time I see that flushed head here,I see kids running to their mums screaming in terror.
Surely the head of the abominable snowman ,would be less frightening.

I still want the 75% 'reach rule' binned. This then allows TV stations to acquire/merge/ which then brings into play the regional viewers which Rugby league has in abundance. I hope the next sitting the senate passes this law. Then the TV ratings will be in our favor forever!

Very good ratings for the NRL last night. The unfortunate thing is that whilst the games are rating that well on a Thursday it's hard to see them scrapping it.

I really hope CBS has a big go at the next rights deal...

If they are only stepping into the market now that everything is declining, i would have to assume they are only using 10 as a launching pad into some digital media market where, i imagine, sports rights are about to become very valuable.

Anyway, itll be years before they even indicate interest, but i hope the ARLC is watching closely...

Channel Nine have absolutely destroyed coverage of the NRL in this country & they are now reaping what they sow. Doesn't help that the station is full of AFL loving Victorians etc who put their sport above their own employer & pull the strings behind the continuation of this woeful coverage.
