Way to take my post out of context, I was replying to Pou. He said Mahoney is only worth 450k-500k. I think he’s worth every bit of 650k.

It only requires the ability to add a single digit number to at most a double digit number. If they can't do that they probably shouldn't be refs. Make it easy on them and if it gets to 50 it's a penalty try.
No because I don't pretend to know how much merkins are getting paid. Whatever is reported in the media is either inflated or adjusted down to create media drama. Instead I decide what I think the player is worth and then decide whether he would be on overs or unders based on circumstances at the time of signing. In the case of Gutherson I think we might've paid overs but then I also think most if not all clubs pay a leadership tax for those players who contribute significantly off the field, such as driving team culture. That would be why we put up with his public contract negotiations, because he is a key insurance in our squad, and maybe why we refused to do the same with Mahoney. Here's our offer merkin, take it or leave it.
