I listened to this podcast this morning.

I am curious does anyone have any proof Gus said Melbourne wouldn't make Top 4 and bomb out week 1.

He claimed the "I told you so" card again and how he was proven right by Melbourne exiting week 1.

NRL360 actually made a good point last night. If we fail again this year maybe BA has totally squeezed the lemon with this squad and if he stays on coach he will need to make some tough calls going forward. For instance, do we let someone like Dylan Brown go and go all out for Munster?

If BA isn’t the man to lead us would the club have the balls to recruit someone like Hasler and bring with him the Trbojević brothers and we let BA, Gutherson and a few other favourites go? Almost like a swap with Manly with coach/players.

If we get rolled again this week the pressure on BA to make squad changes or the club to sack him will be immense. For our clubs sake I hope we avert that and we get to the preliminary final which now is the obvious pass mark for season 2022.

I think if we're beaten this weekend, the rumblings around an Arthur/Hasler swap deal will go into overdrive big time. It will become a bigger story than the actual competition for the next month. Particularly if Sharks beat Souths too.
