Warriors utility Dylan Walker has dodged suspension after his dangerous contact charge was downgraded from grade two to grade one at the NRL judiciary.
Walker had initially been offered a two week holiday after his hit on Storm gun Eliesa Katoa late in the first half of their Anzac Day clash on Tuesday.
He has instead been fined $2,500 and is free to play against the Roosters on Sunday afternoon.

I don't think we even needed to challenge that one at the time... From memory he was hit with a grade 1 or something and didn't have to miss a game. I seem to recall on the morning after the prelim the NRL announced he was clear to play the GF
Which is why I can’t tolerate that flip flopper. One week he gets out the violin for a team hit with the injury stick and the next he’ll say it’s no excuse. Same goes with a bad draw, his mate Ricky, his enemies etc etc. Zero consistency, he just decides who he wants to bring down and contructs a narrative around it.
