Brett Morris ain't a choice fellas.
What?
Brett Morris ain't a choice fellas.
Brett Morris is suppose to be injured and replaced by Darius Boyd
List of players you have to choose from and rules of selection:
The coach has divided the backs into three groups:
Fullback - Specialist role
Outside Back Includes centres and wings
Inside Back A player who can play five-eighth or halfback
Forwards are also divided into three categories:
Tight Forwards A player who plays front-row and also second-row
Edge Forwards A second-rower or lock that can play on both the right and left side edge of a teams attack and defence.
Hooker Specialist role
The coach wants at least three tight forwards in the starting line-up
The Coachs remaining notes are:
Players marked as utility players have been designated on the basis of their ability to cover multiple positions.
The seven man bench will require:
- two Tight Forwards
- one Edge Forward
- one Inside Back
- one Outside Back
- two Utilities
So going by Bennetts instructions, there will only be 1 Hooker playing the game, and that is the automatic selection of Cam Smith.
So why then do we have these players nominated:
Issac Luke (Hooker)
Michael Ennis (Hooker)
Robbie Farah (Hooker)
Parra is the hardest one. Although Hayne is currently rated as best player in NRL, I suspect Hindmarsh will get in due to his popularity amongst fans. I agree with Bennett on Matt Cooper, as a Dragons fan I would like to see him playing this game. Would also be good to see Mini get in for the Roosters. Everyone saying Ryles but he has not even played a game for them yet.
