NRL & ESL sister clubs

With the NRL being stronger than the English Super League do you think a sister club format would work where an NRL club & Super League are able to exchange players?

NRL club sends up & coming fringe & lower grade players to the Super league club & in turn the Super League club sends out players that may want to challenge themselves in the NRL

Example

Brisbane Broncos - London Broncos
NZ Warriors - Wigan Warriors
St. George Illawarra Dragons - Catalan Dragons
Wests Tigers - Castleford Tigers
Penrith Panthers - Halifax Panthers
Gold Coast Titans - Huddersfield Giants
Canterbury Bulldogs - Batley Bulldogs
Cronulla Sharks - Leeds Rhinos
Sydney Roosters - Hull KR
South Sydney - Hull FC
Parramatta Eels - Bradford Bulls
Manly Sea Eagles - Sheffield Eagles
Nth QLD Cowboys - Leigh Leopards
Canberra Raiders - Widnes Vikings
Melbourne Storm - Salford Red Devils
Dolphins - Warrington Wolves
Newcastle Knights - St. Helens

I'm not sure SL clubs would be happy to lose their star players to NRL clubs in return for some Jnr players needing experience before they move back to the NRL!

There is a Penrith in England you know. Not too far from Hadrian's Wall. Akin to the mighty defensive capabilities of the Penrith Panthers of NSW.

As for sister cities Penrith have two of them: Fujieda City and Hakusan City both in Japan.

The sun never sets on Penrith.

Thought we’d line up with St Helen’s? But Catalan will do, I’m guessing the weather is better.

And to answer the question properly yes. But lets not get caught up with the animal.

Penrith and Warrington trained together before the WCC. Burgess and Cleary appear to get along. Also Zac Hardaker was traded on loan to us in 2016.

Though I tend to think the USA will be a focus point for NRL clubs rather than the SL.

Warriors did sorta try and get a relationship with Wigan going when we signed Sam Tomkins. Played a preseason game and they sent over 2 juniors who I don’t think even lasted more than a couple of nsw cup games before it fizzled out

Better to have a similar situation like the brisbane-London broncos setup of the early 90's.

You could get other NRL clubs to link up with maybe other expansion areas like Sheffield, Manchester, Birmingham and Newcastle etc.

Roosters - Catalans would make more sense. Our current first grade coach cut his head coaching teeth with the Dragons. McNamara, the Catalans current coach, went there after being an Assistant at the Roosters, and a lot of ex-Roosters players have played for them in recent years.

Also our jersey is modelled on the French kit just to add to the frog flavour.

Not sure about formal relationships - but think it could be better for the development of some fringe NRL players good to play a season or 2 as a starter in SL rather than be on the bench/18th man/state cup - specifically spine players

Can't see how a star ESL player playing QLD or NSW Cup would benefit their comp.

And why punish Australian players by sending them to Northern England?
all fringe players rom both leagues
what if for example Beven French went from the Wigan Warriors to the NZ Warriors as his return to the NRL
