http://renegadesfs.com/index.php/nrl/nrl-fantasy - These guys are all nrl fantasy nuts so if your interested and dont really understand what players to pick you can go to their site and they will help you lots. Since this is a head to head competition you may want to read http://renegadesfs.com/index.php/nrl/nrl-fantasy/item/1449-playing-head-to-head and http://renegadesfs.com/index.php/nrl/nrl-fantasy/item/1448-picking-your-side-to-start-the-season
Thanks

Looking forward to the comp guys.
It's been a few years since I've had a real crack at fantasy as my son was born in 2012 and as a result just haven't had the time to dedicate towards searching my team etc.
Now he's a bit older and amuses himself I can put a bit of time in.

The great thing about fantasy is it puts interest into other non-Souths matches that you normally wouldnt be fussed watching. Particularly if it's the last game of the weekend and your score is close to your opponent. I can get a bit vocal cheering for my players to the amusement of my Mrs.
Hey mate. I haven't done it before lol.

It'll still be fun though.

Maceman my goal is to not come last.

R20, You'd be suprised how quick you pick it up. You'll be fine
I've been fiddling a lot and trying to find cheapies.

You can click on each player and it tells you what percentage of people have picked that player lol!!!!!!!!!!!

What does DPP mean???

Anyone know???

dollars per points (I think)

I guess it's meant to show how much bang you get for your buck

the only problem is it's based on total fantasy points that they got last year, but most players didn't play every game, so it isn't really accurate. it should be dollars per average points

Just joined.
Is their a way to see each other's teams?
Because I'm new to this just wanna see how others have approached it and if it differs much from my strategy.

You won't be able to see others teams until the comp starts. That we no one can copy teams.

Thanks for joining everyone.

Well that sucks.
I've gone with a stategy of picking a back up team first. So i picked a run on 13 made up of players who missed football or are in line to replace retired or moved on players.
So my 'starting 13' included players like rts, hayne, kahu, whare, aj, seizer, Chricton, arrow, asiata, Musgrove and RCG. Mania Cherrington looked great value for someone who looks to have first choice at hooker for the defending premiers.
That left me with a team of regular first graders and a big budget to spend on the remaining 12 players. I picked a few guys who look to have huge stats like gallen, fifita and mcinnes, holmes looked good at a wingers price for a guy who'll play fullback, a few good rep players like Maloney, hoffman and chambers and then went for a few young guns.
I also picked Gray. When he comes back from injury will he be cheaper? I don't know whether to replace him or just use the cover i have

I'm not sure if he'll be cheaper or not. Probably not tbh.
