Haha it's because I've played it like 3 years in a row and you get a bit addicted to it. I remember I was sitting through a whole uni lecture on my phone contemplating whether or not to trade out Sam Burgess last year.

Looking forward to the comp guys.
It's been a few years since I've had a real crack at fantasy as my son was born in 2012 and as a result just haven't had the time to dedicate towards searching my team etc.
Now he's a bit older and amuses himself I can put a bit of time in.

The great thing about fantasy is it puts interest into other non-Souths matches that you normally wouldnt be fussed watching. Particularly if it's the last game of the weekend and your score is close to your opponent. I can get a bit vocal cheering for my players to the amusement of my Mrs.

Here's some interesting info for the "Clarke's a Dud" brigade.

Clark is the Rabbitohs’ interchange specialist with 53 of his 59 appearances in the last three years coming from the bench, including all 23 appearances last season. He’s a very hard working defender who made the 8th highest tackles per minute (for players with 100 tackles) last season and had the 14th best missed tackle rate. Even though he doesn’t do much else players like that always have a place in the NRL. I will tell you something, for one of my reserves/substitutions the guy I picked is out for the first 8 weeks of the season so I had to change lol.

No doubt the remaining trials can cause injuries and wreck havoc in my squad

I haven't done it before. I may struggle a bit.

Getting the balance right seems tough.

You need a mixture of very good and cheapies/smart buys.

Problem is the injuries.
