Gee, the Ranfurly Shield's been shared around this year. From my count it's gone Waikato-Southland-Canterbury-Otago.

It's got me thinking how the NRL could've/should've had something similar.

The Sharks need to start strong. The Canberra crowd, with cold conditions, has the home team on the front foot.

Sharks paid big money for AFB

Have just watched 2 sets where they struggled to get out of their 20 and he didn’t take a run.

Still nil-all. Over the hump in the first half.
...Big Red finally breaks the deadlock. Under the sticks. 6-0.

Feels like the Raiders have had everything this half, and 6 points isn’t a lot to show for it

Think Brailey is going to have a say in this game, and Hynes has a big 40mins coming up because he has done absolutely nothing so far and needs a big one to break the stigma around him

Saw this comparison yesterday

Drive without a license, while drunk and on drugs, crash the car injuring the public, 9 games & 100k

Send a text asking for some gear, 10 games & 250k
Agree, piss poor on Ezra, should have been the season, minimum.
That's why your mate Newton is involved, because they think it's overkill and could set a standard/precedence.

12-all. Addin gets his first break, Nikora on.

This is a pretty good game. If Addin comes back on and it's still close then he could be the difference.

...the 'Parkes Spaceman', whatever his name is, puts the Sharks in front. 18-12, 24 mins left...

...Brayley makes a break, hit high, Hynes kicks the penalty, 20-12, 18 mins left. Big Addin's back on.

Canberra let the ball bounce, Iro pounces, game over. 26-12. Big Addin looked a bit guilty, he might've got a sneaky knock-on.

Players love letting the ball bounce these days

game, set and match and a rough end to a good season for Canberra.

32-12, Sharks. Final.

The minor-premiers go out in straight sets. Sticky, no!, don't rest your A-team and have fifty put on you!

I took one look at this uptown and was instantly taken back to that great night at Mt Smart!:
