It's an amazing achievement and speaks volumes of both his natural abilities and his dedication
Ill put my hand up as one of many who didn't think he'd make it. Very happy to be proven wrong in this instance

Congrats to the Hayne Plane, hope he keeps making plays and improving

The "Welcome to our League" message is a great link between the codes.

At least they refer to him as Rugby League player instead of a Rugby player.

Makes me laugh when people are worried others will follow, there is not another athlete that would make it currently playing in the NRL. Hayne is just a freak, biggest shame is he played at a basketcase club while in the NRL.

This coupled with the recent stadium announcements should be promoted by the NRL to the fact our code produces the best athletes and with government support WILL be the dominant sport in NSW and QLD for decades to come.

Not to mention the interest this could generate in our code from major American broadcasters. The inter College code is nearly as big as the NFL. Some of them could show interest in having players in our code if Hayne is an indication of the skill and toughness they can poses.

I hope the NRL are smart enough to take advantage of the exposure and possibilities this opens up.

Chook.

You mean like cancelling the Panthers v Broncos Hawaii game (funded by the Hawaiian government) because of player burnout concerns?

More so the desire to learn.

This was Hayne's dream, he was going to put everything he had into it.

If players are going to go over there because of potential pay days or it would be "nice" to give it a try then they're going to struggle.

Hayne is definitely an exception rather than a rule.

The Jarryd Hayne announcement is on the front page of nfl.com

They have included an awesome video with NRL action spliced in with some of his NFL preseason highlights.

This follows on from some Eels footage being shown when Hayne took the field in the match with the Denver Broncos.

There will be sell outs at every game now. ANZ will need to go back to 100,000 to fit all the fans in
