They’ll play finals, but Sharks are my disappointment of the year so far. Not many injuries, unaffected by Origin, but just can’t seem to put really good performances together consistently. Souths are absolutely decimated, and they haven’t been able to put a try on them 35mins in.

And the Sharks only sneak home, 14-12.

The penalty Souths kicked was the funniest thing I've ever seen. Wighton milked that like you've never seen before and Sharpe fell for it. Just on that basis she should never be in charge again
Not entirely on her, but the 10mins for a shoulder charge when it was a head clash that knocked Rudolf out was laughable

The controversial end to the Wallabies v Lions test made me laugh a bit. In Origin, there's no way a referee decision wouldn't go in favour of a 'decider'.

Was always going to happen after the emotional investment of beating Melbourne last week.

Same with us with the Leka miracle last week. I picked a flat Warriors performance and I got it. It ruined my weekend (and the Wallabies ruined it too, a tremendous game of rugby that was).

I told my workmates the Warriors - and rugby league - are dead to me...until about Wednesday, maybe Thursday.

Absolute disgrace from Seibold. Olakau’atus shoulder went again first game back, and Seibold said in the press conference they knew it was a 90% chance of dislocating again but took a calculated risk

He should never have been out there if that was the case and even if the player is desperate to play in that scenario, wiser heads should prevail. Heads should roll over this incident

has to be on medical team? bizarre that Seibold would say that, or that they would take that chance with him... but I guess last year Penrith rolled the dice with Cleary (nobody ever said what the risk was)

Yep they have probably said you can’t do any more damage and it’s surgery at some point anyway so give it a go. Isn’t a good look player welfare wise. Why you’d publicly come out and say it has a 90% chance of going again beggars belief

Storm will probably be having a close look at how it played out and how they handle Hughes

It was an interesting round, I guess. Upsets and hidings:

The Panthers are coming, but we've known that for weeks now. Bennett's Souths are last!

The '95 Bulldogs:

Or the Woy Woy Golf Club's annual trip to Sydney? Either way, it looks like plenty of piss has been sunk over those thirty years.

Is that John Timu far left ? They could have some with a few more Xs on the label for Lambs jersey.

Timu? I'd say so. There's that other Kiwi to his right, but can't think of his name right now. It was a coincidence Manly scored 'four' in both '95 and in yesterday's game, although you would'v taken the other guys scoring 18 instead of 42.

The modern jerseys are unforgiving in the middle!
