Dogs vs Fins should be a good game i hope. Speed vs Speed. Dogs defence should be the difference and Crichton is playing on another level at the moment.

This game is a good watch. The fox being run down.Inconceivable.
Hopefully this idea of V’landys gets off the ground and complete buy in from the players for Grand Final day. Love the concept of a fastest man race, fastest forward, goal kicking comp like they are talking about

Guessing the main race would involve Hamiso, Addo-Carr, Saab, Koula, Khan-Pereria, Mariner off the top of my head. A relay could be good fun as well

I have heard in the past it's the clubs stopping it, due to potential injuries that could occur. But may be one of those rumours with no truth.
If V'Landys is watching the NFL pro bowl there are plenty of ideas to steal and adjust to our game. Fans would love it.

OT…. Wish the Warriors could show the character in adversity that the ABs are tonight, early days but that’s what a successful culture produces

C'mon Tigers, hold out! Five mins to go.

Edit: and they did, but only just (they're the Tigers after all. A forward pass stopped Souths from scoring two tries in the last three minutes.

18-16, Wests. Final. Benji looked like he was close to tears.

heres the theme Blair.

I feel like crying. I haven't heard that since it was last played, in about 1985.

Glynn Tucker did the racing show 'Turf Talk' on Saturday mornings. A generation of Kiwi kids had no access to their fathers from 9:30 am to 10:00 am. That suited us fine as we'd be out the door by then anyway. If we weren't I can still hear my old man 'shooshing' us.

Tony Palmer was our league man. He did the famous Frank Tinitelia try at Carlaw Park in '83 (Otahuhu winning the Fox Memorial). Palmer was primarily motorsport but found a spot with league. My old man never forgave TVNZ for using Palmer, in an Auckland studio, commentate the first test at Lang Park in the '85 series.

See, we'd been stunned with Nine's Daryl Eastlake's call on the famous Lang Park win over the Kangaroos in '83. Palmer ruined the atmosphere two years later.
One Hoondred and eighhhteee! in that accent is etched in my brain for all time.

Legend. And who cannot say they didn't get a dartboard as a result?

It does. Last week also showed the idiocy of human beings too...such a massive overreaction, I read that Savea shouldn't be allowed near captaincy, Razor won't translate into an international coach, Mackenzie is a fraud, the ABs are a spent force etc. OK, there's sterner tests to come, but gee we can be a nation of f**kwits when it comes to the ABs. Funnily enough, we actually got it right temporarily after last year's World Cup final, and no one had to wear the blame.
