NRL statues, where are they, who likes them, where will the next statue be?

I know this, I know he played 18 games for NSW before his 1 game for Qld.
Just don't get the Lang Park connection

for sure. i dont know much about the impact of that first game, so my bad, but only playing 1 game there (1st grade) and from what ive read the better ground would have been SFS

 

They seem to be a Queensland thing. They wanted to put a statue of a cane toad up at the place they were released but the Govt wouldn't pay for it.

 

Darius Boyd was a statue in one on one situations last season.

 

Canberra raiders has a few statues, you know who they are

 

Belongs in the disabled toilet at the Normanby

If the Warriors stay in Australia for the whole season - they might get one.

 

It'd be good to see in time some more players get statues, besides the current ones who would you choose?

Cowboys - Matt Scott
Brisbane - Maybe Langer, maybe Cameron Smith or JT if they go keep going down the QLD Legends path.
Gold Coast - Probably nobody yet, maybe Preston Campbell.
Newcastle - Chief & Joey
SFS - Fittler, Beetson
Bankwest - Sterling
Penrith - Alexander, would be weird having a statue of Todd Byrne for the Sattler tackle.
Tigers (which ground?) - The flick pass.
Canberra (new ground) - Daley and/or Stuart
Mt Smrt - Stacey Jones.
Brisbane, Newcastle, Wollongong, Kogarah & SFS - Darius.

 

The Reg Gasnier Statue is currently at Kogarah Oval, while the SFS is being fixed up. It will stay at Kogarah until the stadium gets fixed (or nearing completion).

This is in the Caxton now, sits next to the bar, it's actually tiny

 

Outside of JT if i was going to pick one person to have a statue that turned a club around and had an everlasting effect and set up the blueprint for success to follow for years to come it would be an easy pick.
