Just can't understand the love for Josh Mansour. Runs like a crab, 2014's version of Captain Araldite (that award was Dallas Johnson's for a few years) and has been injured for quite a while.

And they talked him up as being a NSW SOO candidate. Well FMD!!

Geez....f**king Derptown....oops I meant Burketown.

On the Gulf of Carpentaria of course! Did a croc thieve one of your last remaining brain cells.

Still, Mansour isn't much at all. With 32 wingers in the comp at the start of 2014, he wouldn't be anywhere near my top 10.

He is a top notch finisher, but his real value is in his metres. Averages something like 2nd highest in the comp and provides the go-forward that the Penrith props lack.

The two games he was out against the Roosters and Sharks, Penrith got slaughtered up front. He came back in against the Dogs and the whole pack seemed a lot more comfortable and matched the much vaunted Dogs pack. He might not be as skillful, fast or flashy as the top wingers like RTS, but he is incredibly influential for a winger.

I guess we're the only ones who take notice of him weekly. All the Fantasy coaches seem very interested in him though. Anyhow, there's the metres gained thing, and this - http://www.penrithpanthers.com.au/news/2014/08/05/josh_mansour_round_1_try_vs_newcastle_knights.html

If you are going to have an opinion the least you could do is watch the guy play first. No one averages 170m a game over their career by running like a crab.

Fantasy coaches!! What a laugh!!

So what's next...a Josh Mansour porno. Keep flicking the bean.
I mentioned fantasy competitions only because they involve players statistics. I don't give a shit about fantasy comps personally but the Panthers threads are constantly bombarded by other fans concerned whether he plays or not.
I don't believe Mansour moves sideways a lot, but if that what it takes to lead the metres gains stats, then so be it.
Lastly, your an idiot.

He is reminiscent of Sam Perrett, no opposition supporter likes to see him with the ball in broken play

I'm as patriotic as the next guy but Konnie doesn't deserve to be in a team of the year. One HUGE game v the Raiders at home, a few big halves, a piss poor start to the year and I truly think he needs to harden up, get better conditioned and play more 80-min efforts rather than limping off as much as he does. A guy with his size, strength and speed will be in a team of the year if he wants it enough.

Matulino and Mannering would be closest to a Team of the Year from our perspective.

Hurrell has been immense this year. He definitely deserves a spot in team of the year in my opinion.

He definitely deserves to be considered alongside the likes of Matai and Lyon on this years form. It's one of those categories where a lot of the top guys you'd expect (Morris, Hodges, Hopoate, Jennings etc) have either missed a decent chunk of the season or have been coming back from injury/hiatus.

When you go through team by team really Hurrell does stand out against most alongside Matai, Lyon, Whare, Walker (not sure how many of his games were centre).

Who outside of those five would challenge?

It's hardly been a bumper year for centres. Walker may get the Dally M centre, based on his form since about round 11 being consistently brilliant. Duge has been great recently but hasn't played enough. Matai started with a hiss and a roar but very quiet lately. Whare I'd have shading Konnie based on consistency.

So he's top 5 probably but I think he's been too up and down to say he's top two. Only my opinion as a fan and probably a hard marker.
