Why the hell would Melbourne drop Lima?

He has been their best prop in 2006, 2007, 2008 and again in 2009 .. Blair has also been good this season.

But they start with a nuffie like Scott Anderson, and put Tolman (who is a good player) and Tandy (wtf?) on the bench ahead of Lima?

TBH, Lima should be starting prop for Melbourne every single week. Don't know what game Bellamy is trying to play, unless he realises that Melbourne can't really finish anything else except 4th, so he's starting to rest players for the Finals?

Agree 100%. He is up there with your Hannants and Prices and Civonicevas in terms of workrate and stamina.

Scott Anderson, Brett White and Matt Cross combined would struggle to get through the same amount of work.

Jeff Lima (Fractured eye socket) - Jeff sustained this injury in the game on the weekend and is likely to miss two weeks. It is an undisplaced fracture. He has good muscle function around the eye and is unlikely to have too much trouble with this.
