No props on the bench, thanks Tim Sheens

Poor bench balance. Even if you move Cordner to prop, you've still got 2 lock/second rowers and a utility. Not sure if he'd move Jake to prop or one of the benchies. You'd have to give Fifita a game, I'd have thought. I'm OK with Bird as the utility, he's more likely than Peachey to be of use if there are no injuries in the backs. But if there were, you'd probably want Peachey.
Tim Sheens? The squad was picked by Craig Wing.
That said, I agree with you, no way you can go into Origin without 1 if not 2 specialist props on the interchange bench in this day and age. Let alone Jack Bird as an interchange player? Yeah, right![]()
Was being facetious mate, Tim Sheens would regularly pick ridiculous benches like that.
Just don't get what Peachey offers??
Good side, although I'd go 2. Cotric.Peachey definately takes the utility role. Long road back for burgers Bird I think.
Cleary/Keary for the lols (Sorry Rabs).
Finucane may as well go play ESL if he can't crack it this year. Outstanding player. Freddy has mentioned him a few times and I believe he will play. Prefer him to start over Vaughan.
Fangs side:
1. Tedesco
2. Fergo (Though they will probably pick Cotric/Tupou someone else)
3. Mitchell
4. Roberts (No one else putting their hand up)
5. Addo-Carr
6. Keary
7. Cleary
8. Klemmer
9. Cook
10. Finucane
11. Cordner
12. Frizell
13. Big Jake
14. Peachey
15. Tariq Sims
16. Chrichton
17. Vaughan
The Dumpster:
- RCG (How the tache has fallen)
- Prior (Seeya old man)
Good side, although I'd go 2. Cotric.
The pic in post #192 might go against the Jimmy the Juice as well.
Jimmy was way beyond trying to get into some chick's room.nah freddy can sympathise

Fittler will be mindful that Queensland's decade plus of dominance was built on sticking with proven origin players even when their club form wasn't great. Even Tedesco was chosen last year more on reputation than form.Don't like to change a winning team but Maloney and Cleary are currently godawful.

Having said that it's probably Maloney's final year in the NRL and he'll struggle to hold his place. Cleary would have the inside running for the 7.
