Im curious why the general concensus is to put Tahu on the wing when he hasnt played League on the wing since he was at Newcastle. He was also the form center of 2007.

Because he's a proven quality winger at representative level. If Tahu can find some kind of form next year he should go straight into the team because he's all class IMO.

Grothe, Morris and Lawrence all offer different things.
Neither Morris nor Lawrence come close to matching Grothe's destructive runs or ability to roll the sleeves up and do some grunt work.

And yes, Grothe is better than Lawrence anyway atm. No doubting Lawrence is good, and he has a lot more versatility than Grothe, playing in many more positions and has a better passing and kicking game.

Morris v Grothe, apples and oranges, either would go ok.

Because guys like Jennings, Morris and Idris are the future. Tahu is there for experience and to put his shoulder through falou's rib cage! We should be focusing on these up and coming superstars like Hayne, Jennings, Morris, Wahmough, Weyman etc but as Game 3 proved we need the guys that have been there and done that like Kimmorley, Barrett and i'd love to see Tahu and Hindmarsh in there next year!

You need the solidarity of experience in origin otherwise the "future" like your Josh Morris types won't benefit from the experience themselves.

Look how good young guns like the Morris twins have gone with experience inside them on the footy field like your Matt Coopers and Brett Kimmorleys

As a QLD fan, please pick Barrett and Kimmorley in the halves again. That particular selection is called 'burying ones head in the sand'. Both are at the twilight of their careers - the longer the keep playing Origin, the greener their replacements will be when the finally retire.

Keep Kimmorley, he's the better of the two, and pick either Mullen or Pearce at 5/8. These are NSW two best halfback porspects once Kimmorley retires.

Next year, put them both in the halves or maybe throw Campese or Carney in at 5/8 depending on form.

But you need to start training the next generation of halves NOW. Don't forget, even Andrew Johns was forced to play hooker once or twice, instead of halfback.
