i know wade wasnt 'produced' in melbourne. ive been following my team for the last 8 years so i would know, we were talking about haddin and you said get back to me when victoria produces a better one and i said well victoria has one PLAYING for them right now, as in a better keeper than haddin. i wasnt trying to argue and say wade was produced by victoria even tho he has played pretty much all his fc for us but this obviously got misunderstood. but i apologise for hurting the senstive nsw fans feelings then.

and btw no one else has really confronted my point that this holy grail of cricket is only really providing two good members to the test team currently. and one is very new.

Well given that Haddin had a very good Adelaide Test I would say that we have five decent members in the current squad plus Cummins to return.

But don't let facts get in the way of your infantile arguments.

mate you know haddin is past it, even most nsw fans on here recognise it. its the perfect time to get wade into the team to prepare for the ashes but the selectors are going on about trying to carry him for the next year and a half :crazy:. cowan is a solid opener at best, nothing special at all. so like i said clarke and now warner are two really making good contributions to the team and tbf they are really good contributions. but then when it comes to the test side victoria has produced two of the best fast bowlers in the world so that cant be undervalued so its nhardly like nsw is carrying the test side on its back. cummins might find it hard to force his way back in to the line up. who do you take out??

You forgot Ryan Harris.

And I never disagreed re: Haddin. However, you underestimate Cowan. And at the end of the day, six of the 13 that belted India 4-0 are from NSW.

i think Hartley would disagree.

I dont know why Hartley's never got recognition, thr thought with Paine is that he's a better keeper than Haddin and his batting is reasonable, yet Hartley's batting is the same level roughly and his keeping is much better. Would be a better option.

If we want a keeper batsmen again we go with Wade or maybe Nev (although he needs a few more f/c games I guess he's averaging 50 and is a damn good keeper). Yet Paine is the chosen one.
