As someone said earlier, Stuart is way too stubborn to pick Hayne. Morris HAS to go, Hayne is the logical replacement, but there is no way in the world Ricky will go back on his word of not picking players 'out of position'. Morris, Uate, Dugan, Gidley, Stewart, Gordon, Mini and the entire population of wingers/fullbacks could be injured and Ricky would overlook Hayne.

as for gidley, what does he provide off the bench apart from the ability to cover an injury? he's hopeless out of dummy half

Quoted for truth!

Why on earth would we want Kidley back in the squad?

The horror years of watching him keep on picking it up and going himself from dummy half --> congesting the NSW attack into the middle third of the field :(
No thanks.

If we drop Young, perhaps it should be for Farah?
The squad needs some attackers. Soward has a nice kicking game, but he simply isn't a passer of the footy - we need some blokes who can put people into gaps.
The OBVIOUS choice is Hayne to FB - but Sticky would never do that (unless Dugan's leg falls off in the next few weeks - for NSW sake I hope so) - so bringing Farah to the bench at least allows us to bring him on after 20 or so and spark the attack from dummy half!
