I thought I had read somewhere that he has been picked up by either the Bulldogs or the Panthers?

I can't see us holding on to Jett, can you? Surely he wants to be in Sydney with his family, and all the waves they're making.
At first I thought the same thing. We were being treated like the nest of the bird that raises the Cuckoo chick.

Then I came to an idea. What if the reason he left home is because he wanted to. What if he doesn't get along with his Brother or one of his parents.

A very common thing in families, what if he is the black sheep of the family? Maybe he loves being apart from a home life where people argue all the time?

It is not for us to know, but that happens sometimes, it could just be we are the lucky end of the stick, and that NZ was not just chosen because it is familiar....maybe NZ was his choice because it is far away.

I know it can be hard as a parent if you have an elder child who is gifted, it gets hard on the younger ones, accusations of favoritism or expecting the same standards etc.

Excuse the rant but it is one I have had for a while but kept to myself because there could be nothing in it and it comes across as Gossip.

Another theory is that Ivan may have a burning desire to win a premiership with the Warriors especially if he 5 peats. Nothing left to prove at Penrith. Winning the Warriors maiden premiership might be a motivating tool. Jett might be sending back intel on whether the Warriors have improved their professionalism since he was last there.

Jett is a kiwi. People forget that.
He's made best friends in NZ.
I believe he's closest to Kayliss.
Its no coincidence that Kayliss changed his mind to join Panthers after Jett got in his ear.

That legit? Pretty cool if so.

I know he was born here, but he would've been only 5-6 when Ivan left so didnt think he was coming back to any meaningful relationships. But if he's formed close bonds with the lads this year then sweet... more chance we'll hang on to him.

It'd be pretty rough if, after developing into a first grade ready 7 with us, he packed up soon after to head back to Penrith.

Jett has formed some good friendships in NZ.(Kayliss, Hanson, via Insta) An article written in Australia about Jett wanting to forge his own destiny and venture down his own path outside the shadow of his older brother Nathan.

"Obviously, there's Nathan and dad and they've got their own thing going in Penrith," he said. "I could've easily stayed there and rode what they're doing now because they are pretty successful, but I thought this was a good opportunity to step out of the limelight a bit and do it my own way and try succeed on my own."

My prediction is he will play for the Kiwis after more bonding time with the Warriors as he's already eligible for being born in NZ.

I don't think the Minor Premiership has a trophy. ( May be wrong on this.) Not sure on the U20's.
Wonder how big the cabinet is?

The minor premiership team wins the J. J. Giltinan Shield. It used to be the trophy the winners ran their victory lap with before it became more professional.
