Lettuce hope it's not.
Bravo!
Lettuce hope it's not.
Seriously.... Its f**king astonishing how this type of shit only ever happens at three times of the year...
- On the eve of the season kicking off
- During Origin
- During the Finals
It never seems to happen over the summer when there's no attention on the game...
To quote Dyson Heydon or Heydon Dyson what ever his name is could this match fixing thing be the tip of a very large iceberg.
What shits me is that there isn't any solid evidence as yet that any player has done anything wrong.
What happens if it is eventually found that no player has done anything wrong.
The game has already been tarnished just by the cops press conference this morning.

Were the labour party there?
Was the Labor Party there? If we are to follow the wacky logic of some Cronulla supporters following the Clare, Lundy press conference back in 2013 then it's the police who want Manly thrown out of the comp.
Were Clare and Lundy there?
NRL matches being investigated
Finally, the cat is out of the bag …
The NSW Organised Crime Squad has revealed it is investigating two NRL matches from last year and whether match-fixing has been at play.
The matches in question are a Round 16 match between South Sydney and Manly and a Round 24 match between Manly and Parramatta.
This story has been bubbling along behind the scenes for weeks now, with reporters climbing over each other to nail down enough facts to bring it into the light.
The troubling issue appears to be the money – or lack thereof – invested on either game. If the fix was on, wouldn't someone have heavily backed it?
Geez the media love to sink the boot in even before anything has been shown to have happened.
Have to say you reap what you sow though and you can't look at anything to do with NRL without being bombarded by advertising for betting. Between alcohol sponsorship and betting companies becoming a part of the game I can't understand where the perception of RL being a low brow sport comes from lol.
No idea, I'm interested in RL. Do you watch afl, is every show and their website dominated with betting link ups?
