Ferguson is such a dope. Doesn't he know a cruiser on a roof top and a well placed selfie on social media is all that is required to get out of your Raiders contract?

We can all jump and jive like we just don't care, but bottom line, these guys have form. No matter how innocent it looks they are guilty already in peoples minds. Within seconds an incident is up on Facebook or twitter and by then its too late. We can't have 24 minders with these guys, but don't put yourself in that position to start with FFS.Dugan,Carney, Ferguson ...are easy targets for idiots wanting to screw up a career on big $.

yep, good sensible advice without preaching to people & a sad but true indication of how some people in society treat "celebrities" when they're in public.

Hi guys,

I know that this is going to come across as a troll post from a bitters Raiders fan trying to stir sh*t up, but it's not.

Put Fergo aside for a minute, we all know he's a dipstick with no brains, he'll get what's coming to him if proven guilty. Even if not proven guilty he shouldn't have been out in the first place.

Which brings me to Dugan.

A few comments in this thread saying "he's been nothing but great since getting his second chance". We will agree to disagree.

On the Footy Show he said "I'm just managing my injury and being professional about it".

Does being professional about managing an injury involve consuming champagne from a bottle at 10:30pm the night before you go into Origin camp? Or putting yourself in potential harm's way with the guy where you both got in trouble last time? Have fun sure but you don't need to do it in a public place where trouble will come looking for you.

I'm just glad he's not our problem anymore because this sort of stuff was why we were glad to be rid of him in the first place. He has no brains and no ability to make correct decisions off the field. He's done nothing wrong by the letter of the law, but in time you'll start to get tired of his constant injuries, slow play-the-balls as he limps to his feet, and wondering what his commitment is really like when he's doing dumb stuff off the field.

He is a freak of a footballer, I just hope he realises his potential before he stuffs up again bigtime.

Couldn't agree more mate, he may not ulltimately be in trouble but Dugan shouldn't have been out there either. They're obviously just absolute farkheads on the sauce together but this could be the final straw for Fergo's time at Canberra (and possibly even the NRL). It also puts NSW in a very vulnerable place for game 2 with such a disrupted preparation and god help the Blues if they bring in a numpty like Merritt.

Going up and winning in qld was always going to be a massively challenge, but I'm thinking the whole series could be changed up there with a belting and the Maroons to win yet another series 2-1. F*ck I hope I'm wrong, though.

Noone is saying that he should have been out, he was an idiot to be out in Cronulla with Blake drinking. Personally, I'm just happy that he hasn't been hit with any charges and hopefully its a slight reality check for him that he can't just relax now that he's playing well, he needs to keep toeing the line..

Hopefully Youngy or one of the senior players get in his year when he gets back to the Dragons...

Fair enough comments, there's a big difference being talking about something & actually doing it.

For some of the players, is the main reason they play just to get drunk afterwards ? Seriously, it seems as though some of them just view that as the highlight of the week. Even the State of Origin players repeatedly say that the most enjoyable part of the experience is the bonding seassions - shouldn't it be the game, representing your state with pride & trying to win ?

Good post by I bleed green, these guys have to realise how good they have it and don't take things for granted, it only takes one bad move to destroy a career. It's a shame because Ferguson was starting to realise his potential, one of the few backs with the physical attributes and ability to handle the likes of Greg Inglis. Big blow for NSW too. The only good out of this for Dugan is that he didn't get involved in that exchange alleged indecent assault.

Can someone tell me if indecent assault is different from sexual assault? Or are they both the same?

Very different. Sexual assault involves some form of penetration. Indecent assault is basically touching someone on their private parts without their consent. In other words grabbing a females breasts.

Funny how Raiders fans like to vent here about their ex-players, and how crazy other clubs are for buying them....
Didn't they sign Ferguson from the Sharks? How's that gone again?

I Bleed Green I don't think you'll find many Dragon's fans that would believe A. Dugan is the perfect player with no faults on or off the field or B. That being out on the turps at 1030pm with Fergo the night before SOO camp is a good idea.

The few reposted social media reports from people who were there state that Dugan was acting like a bit of a clown but pulled his head in when asked. Doesn't excuse his choices that night but it shows me he is not beyond redemption.

And one thing I like about the Dragons is that from memory the worst things our players have done in recent years are leaving rubbish at a KFC, Gaz's infamous text and Trent Barrett dancing in his undies. We offered a home to Wendell Sailor after his fall from grace and the fans embraced him as he showed a genuine desire to work hard and play good footy.

Dugan has been given that same chance and while it won't be all plain sailing he will get plenty of support from the fans because that is part of our club's culture. So yes he is "our problem" now and I don't mind one bit at all because we will collectively do our best to get the best out of him as a player and a person.

And when Ferguson left the Sharks,i am sure he made a remark like wanting to join a club to win trophies. Being in the Shire at a nightclub would have been like a member of the klu klux klan standing in the middle of Harlem in uniform.
