A lot of difficult choices to make and really even if you pick the best side, there's no guarantee that it'll be successful given the quality of the opposition.

Gidley, like Farah, is a proven Origin failure. Some players just don't have the same level of play at this intensity.

Ennis thrives on it, Hayne will excel in it.

Farah was never decent for more than a 5 minute period in his 130 odd Origin Minutes. Ennis was excellent in his one game.

Farah was decent in Origin 1, like Buderus though he was upstaged by Wing who took advantage of the tired Queensland forward pack.

2 on the other hand...

Ennis really wasn't THAT good either.

Pete is right, we have such a hard choice to make, it cant purely be on form, cause like he said that could turn out bad, look at qld, some of their stars are never in great form when picked but they know who lifts and commits to origin. We gotta stay true to some player / player combinations, people who have played well over the past 3 or so years consistently

I'd be more concerned about your halves if I was you.

Halves are not the worry - the props are by far the biggest are of concern. NSW must get over the QLD pack for two games this year. If they do that then who ever is in the halves at least gets a chance to play a bit of footy without the pressure of playing behind a team going backward.

We have the backs, halves and forward pack to equal or better qld as we have proved in at least 1 game outta 3 for the past 4 years, its just up to the selectors really. Pick the right team and we have a real chance
