I have no doubt that Hayne is the best fullback in nsw, however I think Stewart or Dugan would be more dangerous then josh Morris. So I'd pick Hayne at center. Picking him on the wing has always been geniused. It would be like qld picking inglis on the wing and Tate at center. Personally I'd go with:

1. Stewart (if not fit then Dugan)
2. B.morris
3. Jennings
4. Hayne
5. Hopoate
6. Maloney
7. Pearce
8. Fiftia
9. Farah
10. Grant
11. Bird
12. Lewis
13. Gallen

14. Cordner
15. Watmough
16. Merrin
17. Sutton

You'd go with Maloney & the dud again Vic?

We unfortunately have very little choice. Carney in for Maloney is a must, but at half there is very little else. Reynolds hasn't show he could handle the pressure yet, throwing him in is a massive gamble. Mullen would be a possibility.

 at no Fifita, the guy is arguably the best prop in the game atm.

I like the rest of the pack though. I'd piss Tamou off, put Merrin back to the bench, Gallen to lock, Fifita starting.

Woops, clearly forgot Fafita. Swap Tamou and Fafita.

I'd only have Gallen playing Lock if he does not try and link with the backline, it's stiffled all of his performances a little at lock for the blues imo

I think Gal is poison and the blues would do well to dump him on his robust derriere. The guy is born to lose, just has that overly negative bitching attitude that is known to inhibit success in all aspects of everyone's life and the evidence is there with the blues and sharks consistently sucking since he's been around. The sharks even do better when he's injured and people act like it's a curious mystery but it's not.

We lost a lot of go forward in game 3 this year without Gallen imo, he does whinge I'll admit that, but he is still a great player when he simply runs forward and tackles.

Yes, the Australian team has certainly been poisoned by Gals presence. I mean, look at all the failures they have experienced in the last 5 or so years

Yeah well, obviously they should win every game by a million, gal can only do so much damage. Still I would say he has damaged them and is probably the reason NZ are as competitive as they are.

I agree with the morris f**king sentiment, but Wighton? He might as well be a third Morris, or NSW's answer to boyd, lol. The blues could do a lot better than that next year, there's no need for any dead space in the back 5.

Why f**k the Morris'? Josh has been solid in the 2 previous series against Greg Inglis. Of xourse he couldn't contain Inglis fully but much better then Lyon, Gaznier, Jennings, Scott, etc have in previous years. Brett I think should not be there, not becauase he's not good enough but because they have freaks like Daniel Tupou, Hoppa and hopefully Fergo pushing for selection next year. I would move Morris to left centre, that's his natural side and he'll do an even better job for us there.

You guys have a lot of freakishly good outside backs now, why settle for solid, remembering the day Josh Morris managed to somewhat contain Inglis. That's just a loser's mentality. Honestly you guys should start taking advice from queenslanders like me, the way you guys think hasn't been working, you need a different perspective.

Morris has that x-factor that the other outside backs have, just he's been so bogged down against the best centre in the world and he's not even on his natural side.

I'm pretty sure they'll just go our backline from game 1 this year. However, if Ferguson isn't back I'd say he'd be replaced with hopefully Gordon or Hopoate (if he returns in good form).

1. Hayne
2. B. Morris
3. Jennings
4. J. Morris
5. Ferguson/Hopoate/Gordon

People may have 1 or 2 different players in THEIR preferred backlines but truth is this backline is still more than capable. Comes down to the halves (once again)
