Soward, Mullen, Wallace, Campese and even Carney have all been failures before and didn't get us within a penalty goal of victory (besides Carney, but Pearce played in that game as well)

Who gave away the penalty that was the difference???

We are a better side then when Mullen, Campese and Soward played, much better, only thing we are really lacking is good halves, Enter Carney and Reynolds.

Im not sure that brett morris should get such a automatic pick on our left wing
He honestly doesnt do too much

Morris made pretty decent metres coming out of our half, he is safe under the high ball (noting how QLD refuse to pepper his wing) and is very reliable in defence and positioning. Considering he didnt receive the ball on the end of a backline movement all series, there's not much else he can do. I'm not against bringing Tafua in, Morris would also be able to complete these actions on the right wing too...that way he'd also be outside his brother, which is a win for them both.

NSW clearly need a spine that can bring the best out of Pearce.

Hooker wise Danny Buderus, Mick Ennis, Dean Young, and Robbie Farah have all been unable to do this. At fullback Hayne, Dugan, Minichiello, Gidley, Stewart have been duds. He crucially needs a quality partner in the halves instead of the dross we've seen such as Anasta, Barrett, Soward, Carney and Maloney.

NSW need to put more thought into their selections in order to awaken the sleepign giant that is Mitchell Pearce

Dugan played pretty good, but if he passes the ball that one time and he holds onto that great offload its an absolute killer performance, but he didnt, Hayne probably would of, Stewart too.

Either way Fergo and Dugan shouldnt be considered next year imo, selfish pricks.

No he didn't play pretty good. How do you all miss him circling on the ball instead of attacking it? Juggling it backwards when he should have been running it forward? Holding his hands out to catch the ball and then pulling them away at the last second? He spent well over half the game scared of the ball, letting kicks bounce and watching them roll when they needn't.

He hit the ball up strongly and cleaned up attacking kicks well. He also consistently cost us territory making QLD kicks better than they were and sabotaged every possible break and backline play he was involved in by either not passing or not catching.

I think Dugan should've been sniffing around Aaron Woods a bit more. That guy was a monster and was looking for offloads all night. It's part of the fullback's job to be there for that

1. Hayne
2. B. Morris/Hoppa
3. Jennings
4. J. Morris
5. Ferguson (McManus unlucky, Ferguson is just the better player and has the x-factor)
6. Mullen / Carney
7. Carney / A. Reynolds
8. Gallen (C)
9. Farah
10. Grant
11. Bird
12. Lewis
13. Fensom

14. Tamou
15. Merrin
16. Watmough
17. Fafita

Can't decide on the halves pairing at the moment, but one of those 2 combinations are the best imo.

NSW needs changes made at the coaching/management level. The same people and opinions have been entrenched there for years and delivered nothing but promises and excuses. They legitimately believe they are making the right decisions but are not able to admit they keep f**king it up with personal bias and in some instamces a complete failure to look at themselves and their actions objectively.

It's time to give someone else a turn.

Speculating on team selections this far out from a series is pointless but a change to management is long overdue. It might be Daley's first stab at coach but he's been involved in the failing system for years. Kick them all out and start again.

Pearce isn't the problem, it's the guys who continue to select him.

Fifita has to be in the side and its probably Mannah that misses from that^bunch.

I think Merrin doesn't offer enough at this level. Got a try but did f*ck all else in all three games.

People who aren't picking Fifita are either blind, mentally geniused or a queenslander. By far the best player for NSW. If we had won the series, he would have got man of the series.

 You have NFI, as usual. Back to crying in the shoulder charge thread for you.

And you can continue to believe Dugan's having all kinds of blinders out there because the stats show he's running the ball! For metres!

Atleast until they start keeping stats on blown opportunities and shithouse kick coverage.

The stats just backed up what most people with half a brain realise-Dugan had a very good game. I know you're still whinging that your toyboy Hayne didn't play but you might need to get over it, you poor simple merkin. Hayne will be back next year, not to worry.
