Shannon Boyd has been pretty crappy this year. Well not crappy just not as good as he was last year. Paulo had a slow start to the year but has been fantastic for the last month.

Obviously fifita should be there but if everyone was fit mal would have picked the 4 nations side plus papalii maybe. Pretty conservative but i guess i can see the argument. They won the 4 nations after all

He doesnt have to play tight it could be a roving type role. He's in our best 13 so I'd have him there.

are we still discussing graham? he's exclusively a left side player. he doesn't show the all-out grunt of frizell who can play as a middle forward for 20mins a half.

if he's selected, he's selected on the left outside/inside Maloney in attack/defence. cordner is the only player standing in his way here. if daley/sterlo want to keep players in their current specialised positions, then the old starting back row composition will probably look like this.

RF: Jackson
LF: Cordner
MF: Merrin

even more so, given Merrin is the incumbent starting kangaroo middle forward, and the love in for Jackson among the NSW brains trust. graham could very well miss out given Bird will be more versatile on the bench, and the 3 remaining IC players will comprise the prop & middle forward rotation. I don't think Wade should miss out, but it is likely.

numbers mean nothing to me. jackson and cordner are both #11 at club, but they play on different sides of the field. like wise with the backs, e.g., both felt and oates are #2 but play on the right and left respectively. time to piss this practice off when posting team lists here so it's clear where folks intend on players in their team to play.

1. Tedesco
2. B Morris
3. J Morris (can play left or right centre)
4. Dugan
5. Hayne
6. Moylan
7. Maloney
8. Fifita
9. Peats
10. Boyd
11. Jackson
12. Cordner (c)
13. Merrin

14. Bird
15. James/Vaughan
16. Frizell/Graham
17. Klemmer

Moylan is simply a 5/8 playing at fullback. His relatively low kick return metres and relatively very high try assists for an elite fullback is evidence of this. He is also playing behind a beaten pack that's dogging it right now. Something's up at the foot of the mountains, too much talent to be playing this poorly for so long. Picking Moylan is a case of the cream rising to the top.

If Penrith persist with playing Martin and Cartwright (haha) at 5/8 in front of him he should consider moving clubs to have a chance of playing in his natural position. It's going to cost him representative football opportunities if he doesn't.

I just hope the selectors don't pick Pearce off the back of some decent but not world beating form. History shows he is a limited and somewhat blinkered half with an inconsistent kicking game. He is also clearly not comfortable with the next level up as his 15 origins to date attest to.

Yep based off Aussie selection this looks it. Boyd might get last bench spot

Klemmer and Woods will probably start though

If they can't win this series then every member of the NSW coaching/selection should be sacked. QLD is done, Inglis and Scott are gone and just looking through the side the only real danger is Thurston. Either Laurie and his team win or they all walk.

Assuming the Test selections are lock-ins and no one gets injured, I think the team will probably be close to this:

1. Jarryd Hayne
2. James Tedesco
3. Michael Jennings
4. Josh Dugan
5. Blake Ferguson
6. James Maloney
7. Mitchell Pearce
8. Aaron Woods
9. Robbie Farah (c)
10. David Klemmer
11. Tyson Frizell
12. Boyd Cordner
13. Trent Merrin

14. Jack Bird
15. Andrew Fifita
16. Shannon Boyd
17. Wade Graham/Josh Jackson

Possibly Teddy at fullback, Hayne at centre, and Jennings on the wing, or maybe Tom Turbo. Maybe Bird starts and Jennings misses out, with 4 forwards on the bench (gotta get Jackson in there somehow, and I can't believe Daley is dumb enough to dump Graham).

Don't know why there is so much love for Hayne.

He's lazy, apathetic towards his teammates and club. He's a pretend god botherer.

The guys cancer

You've just made a new enemy (dogs and eels)

He is the greatest thing this earth has seen according to him based on form pre 2014

Excellent! Haven't made an enemy in my entire 49 previous posts. Which is strange because I tend to attract them in every other fora I'm in
