NSW Team 2017

Townsend is a good halfback but thats it, not a rep player would be out of his depth.

Pearce is the best halfback in NSW and second best playmaker after Maloney.

Unfortunate but true. I think though Maloney is getting up in the Cronk territory in terms of class, and he is key imo. At least Pearce has a combination with him.

And Pearce is?

Moylans ability to put guys around him into space is amazing -

In that one game where he played 6 he put Josh Jackson into a massive hole, Blake Ferguson into space which set up the match winner and Tyson Frizell into space as well. Has Pearce ever done something similar in his 15 game SOO career?

Someone please post the clip of Pearce going himself and ignoring the 5 on 2 overlap to his right.
Pearce is a great clubman.
Pearce is dogshite at rep footy.

Nobody, least of all me, suggests Maloney should not make the side. However, Cooper Cronk he aint.
Great game again by Hayne.

So who do we leave out for him? Tedesco? Dugan? Jennings?

All of them have equal claims and the advantage of incumbency.

Maybe Jazz would be useful coming off the bench.

It was only Newcastle and there was still a lot of laziness that if he brought that to the origin arena he would get torn a new asshole..

Queensland are not Newcastle

I know. He played well

The try he let in it didn't even look like he was trying though

Where he didn't even contest a Bomb just stuck a leg out

The uneeded flick pass that went to nobody

He needs to get that shit out of his game asap. If he did that at origin level he would get creamed

Mistakes happen in games but the positives he bought to the game far outweigh the negatives. See that kick chase when he pinned the knights winger in his goal line forcing a line drop out? Or that almost miracle try at the end of the 1st half.

That wasn't laziness, Hayne was in two minds when stone scored because there was a 2 on 1 with the knights fullback there. He couldn't set himself properly which is why he couldn't put in a stronger shot but mind you that was a big secondrower 1 metre out.

You were definitely dropped on your head

He was going for the hero play and rushed up trying to intercept rather than doing the hard work and trying to stop him one on one
