I'd just really don't agree with Cordner as being the next captain. He doesn't have that presence on the field or stand up as a leader.

Cordner is universally respected by his peers so that helps.

He's more a captain that would lead by actions rather than words.

And he's been one of our top 3 players at club level for about 20 straight games so I know that his teammates have immense respect for his heart and work ethic.

I certainly think he'd be a better choice than Woods.

He made the most metres of the starting forwards and 2nd most tackles behind gillett.

His inclusion doesn't exclude Graham who also deserves to be there.

I wanted to get Paulo in there but I'm a huge De Belin fan. He's been awesome this year. Great work ethic, 2nd phase play and a very strong defender.

To me he is built for Origin where as with the intensity and speed of the game I'd be more worried about Paulo off the bench.

Also if a prop gets injured JDB can easily play 60 minutes.

I also think Woods being out hurts Nsw a bit too, don't crucify me for this but Fifita definitely works a lot better coming off the bench at around the 25 min mark once the sting is taken out of the game

All possibles right now are worthy candidates, some will be very unlucky to miss out which is a good problem to have...

Bagging respected options to justify the inclusion of another is a juvenile arguement... Why do people bother doing this? It just makes you look juvenile

Respectfully i disagree. Fifita sometimes gets a while to get going, but he has a big motor and from that 10-25th minute marks in games he really starts having a huge impact. Similarly when he comes back on for the sharks for the sharks at about the 50-55th minute mark he again takes a little while to get going before finishing games strongly in the last 20 or so minutes. It usually takes him a few minutes to get the flow right. As in is this a game where i can offload, can i get a way with a bit of shit in the ruck or do i have to just play it safer etc.
The problem with fifita off the bench that as soon as he's in the game it's half time. As soon as he's into the game in the second half he's coming off for the starters. He is someone who gets better deeper into his stints so i think he has to start
