FFS! It's not about having one attribute over another, it's about selecting players that can do both. That's a representative player. No body questions Inglis and Chambers defence, because surprise, they can defend as well as be damaging with the ball. Centres who can't defend are found out, and centres who can't defend in origin will be slaughtered. Aitken is extremely capable with the ball. Everyone is looking at the NSW backline and thinking points. There's no starch there. I can't see any of them rolling up their sleeves to cop the punishment early in sets of 6 either. Cotric should be there. He plays wing albeit on the left, but is a natural right side player anyway. I love Tom T as a FB, but I don't see him being effective when the defensive line is set 10m away on tackle 2. There's no balance in that backline
He still has a better win rate than Boyd Cordner. 2 wins in 9 games.I never wanna see Graham in Blue again after Game II last year.
The missed tackle on Josh McGuire after shooting out of the line which led to QLDs 2nd try was horrible.
But the egregious and unnecessary strip on Napa deep in Qlds own half with 5 to go which led to their match winning try was egregious and unforgivable.

The predicted team on NRL.com looks pretty good besides the sack of shit that's captaining the team. Hopefully next year we can f**k him off, move Frizell to the left edge, Crichton on the right and starting and have Jordan McLean or another good prop on the bench.

Neither should be selected. Why start a new culture and then give the captaincy to the bloke with the worst win rate?
He's a good club player. So is Wade Graham. But as we saw with Pearce... some players can never cut it at rep level no matter how great they were at club level.
Here's hoping a decent halfback has Cordner proving us wrong.

Has Cords done something to personally offend you?
He hasn't been his usual self this year to be sure but it is literally his first sub par season in his career.
Interestingly, despite the common viewpoint that he has been below standard this year he is actually leading (up until end of round 10) the roosters player of the year tally as voted by roosters members on this board...
It's state of origin, not a popularity contest. If his form is down don't pick him until it's where it should be.
IMO his form has never warranted origin selection. He is a good club player but I feel he is lacking ability at origin level. It's state of origin, not a popularity contest. If his form is down don't pick him until it's where it should be.
Cords can be the best player in the world playing for the Roosters and I wouldn't want him near the side if he can't perform for NSW - which he hasn't so far. There's a bunch of gun forwards out there and it's a total shame they're missing out because of this plodder.Has Cords done something to personally offend you?

Graham is like Fifita in a way - has the ability to play at Origin level but also does stupid things that damages the team overall.Graham has been very good for NSW besides that missed tackle on McGuire and the strip on Napa, definitely deserves another shot when hes back in form.

He was okayish is game 1 last year along with an absolute dominating forward pack that was in total control. But he has performed
It's not fair IMO to judge him prior to last season when he was starting off the bench. He definitely isn't an impact bench player and should either start or not be in the side. He was excellent in game 1 last year, good in game 2 and poor along with the rest of the team in game 3.
He also made the most metres of any of the starting forwards for NSW last series.
Yep. That penalty summed up the deadshit as a player right there-utterly brainless. Never pick the merkin again.I never wanna see Graham in Blue again after Game II last year.
