Knights v Bulldogs tomorrow (6th) 6.10 pm Cessnock.

I believe all the knights who have been training with firstgrade will sit this one out, and the squad will be cut after the game, so last chance to impress for several guys.

Knights were ahead 6 tries to 4 at 3/4 time when i left.

Most impressive for the Knights were Harmony Hunt, Neenan Simpson, Rodney Mason, Will Smith and Nick Dwan.

None of the top 10 or so played.

Gold coast titans NYC have a trial game versus Ipswich Jets QLD Cup side this weekend. Anyone got any team line ups for either side?

Sydney Roosters defeated Wests Tigers 30-16 I think.

Tigers were fielding a near full-strength side including Junior Roqica, Matt Hyland and Jake Mullaney from the NRL squad as well as Jay Florimo, Sam Stanford, Ben Murdoch, Liam Ayoub and Faleula Finau. Only Aaron Woods was not available due to injury. The Roosters were without 10 starting players and yet still managed to win convincingly.

I thought the scoreline flattered the Roosters though.. There was the length of the field intercept try to Sa as well as another 100 metre + try to the fullback after collecting a grubber in the ingoal and racing through a hole.. However when the likes of Leulia, Williamson, Blair and Stanley are added to the backline they will be very dangerous.

Tigers although disappointing did use 33 players so I wouldn't read a real lot into it.

You are right. But we basically fielded a 2nd string side against a Tigers side with only Robert Lui and Aaron Woods missing and with quite a few players backing up from last year's grand final side and still managed to be leading going into the half-time break, with their 2nd side playing out the 2nd half. The Roosters were missing Boyd Cordner, JP Du Plessis, Brian Skosana, Joseph Leilua, Cheyse Blair, Isaac Maliota, Olireti Samuelu, Fine Moeakiola, Tom Pelo, Sam Brunton, Jack Littlejohn, Jacob Miller, Ryan Williamson, Samson Manu'a, Boyd Strickland, Ben Jones, John Leiataua and Hughie Stanley for various reasons if I didn't miss anyone.

Knights 30 - 18 Penrith
Penrith scored the first couple then pretty much one way traffic for the rest of the game.
Aloi Tuafaao injured and carried off late in the game - leg injury.
Most of the big guns for the Knights either didn't play or sat out a fair bit of the game.
Penrith also used about 25 players.
