I dont think you'll be annihilated Oz, but probably not far from it either.

Then you can change your sig. :D

I'm pretty confident we (NZ) will win the ODIs - expecially if Vettorri is fit.

In the tests, we might struggle. We'll miss Rigger - even though he didn't play well in Aussie. All depends on how the Aussies adapt to our wickets (nice and green I hope) - if they arrogantly go about their shot-making particularly from the back-foot we have a chance... Their quicks will also have to bowl much fuller

Oi... Ozbash. It's the "CHAPPELL - HADLEE" Trophy. Fix your sig!!

I don't think it is for this series. Its the Hadlee-Chappell Trophy in New Zealand from memory.

For some reason or another they change the name of the trophy to whomever is hosting.

isn't the trophy named after the families- 3 chappells and 2 hadlees? not just greg and richard? and on the underarm if a new zealand captain had ever been smart enough to know the rules at the time i'm sure they would have done the same thing to win a game against the aussies ;-)

So there are 2 trophies then?

no. just the one ,, the had/chap :?

Well then why was it the Chappell - Hadlee Trophy when the Kiwis played over here? If it's the Hadlee - Chappell Trophy over there, it must be a different trophy. Unless they change the engraving every time it's played for. :?

I don't think so. One was immoral and borderline on the verge of a mental breakdown, the others during that era were Geoff Howarth and and Jeremy Coney who were fantastic leaders and wouldn't have ever stressed out about McKechnie as Chappell did.

And you're incorrect, there's four Hadlees who played for New Zealand. Barry, Dayle, Richard and the legendary Walter.

You're obviously missing the point. It is ONE trophy, known by different names as to where the game is being played.
