NZ's golden generation i think is still ahead... Madge should be amazing for them.. The pressure is off at the moment because noone expects them to do well.. Aus has just lost a bunch of players i don't think they will replace and so are coming back to the pack and the emergence of the island nations is going to make International RL viable even when Aus isn't playing. The trick is that NZ needs to keep churning out the talent. They have 3 and a half years to get themselves on track.. i think they will.

This Kiwi team has a higher ceiling that is for sure

There will be more than 10K there, and it will only be around 15K if there is zero walk up for the match.

Anyway, whilst some of it is on the late side, at least the promoters are starting to leverage the Denver Broncos connection a bit more on social getting players and the cheerleaders to do promotion shots plus push ticket links.

Hopefully this will help move some last minute tickets.

NRL makes US inroads with 60 million household TV deal for Denver Test

The Denver Test will have a potential reach of 60 million households across the United States and Canada after a landmark deal was struck to show the game live across the CBS network.

The arrangement has only just been finalised, ensuring England’s clash with New Zealand will provide invaluable exposure to a potentially lucrative new market. Organisers are hoping the historic international will draw a strong crowd at Mile High Stadium, the home of NFL franchise Denver Broncos. However, the television coverage will prove equally as crucial in attracting new fans to the game.

The CBS Sportsnet deal is a good one for the coverage of rugby league in North America, the USA and Canada,” said promoter Jason Moore, of Moore Sports International.

“It’s a tier-one cable network that goes to 60 million households.

“It currently carries a lot of rugby and lacrosse and a lot of other sports. To get this game live throughout North America on a Saturday is a great win for us.

There were plans for that to happen but a disagreement about who was to pay for it.
Hopefully the next two games will have the USA playing Canada and Jamaica.

Stop the ESL as the NRL has done and France and Say Ireland or Scotland can play Canada and USA. Time it so it goes when the local league does and can really make an impression over there. The idea is right just poorly done as is RL's way.

That said the game itself should be a cracker

Plus I’m sure the NRl would be ecstatic at letting all the heritage players play considering how against they were this they were just releasing a team and a quarters worth of players.

Hopefully if this 'window' stays open, England and NZ persist with this mid-season test, the Pacific nations keep at it, it will slowly change.

There isn't really many the would qualify anyway. Gives the guys in English Leagues a chance to play more tests
