Probably, but Dannevirke's Luke Ronchi has been going ok too :)

I do like Faulkner a lot, quality cricketer

Ronchi has been playing well, absolutely. I just don't see teams at this stage going "oh crap, Luke Ronchi is walking out, what do we do now?" Faulkner terrifies sides at the moment. And that epic 170* inflates his perceived value IMO (not taking anything away from that knock, though...)

Faulkner is amazing.

One of the best closers to an innings I've ever seen.

Not much chop with the ball but he's so valuable with the bat. I'd pick him in a World XI atm.

Hes a bit like Simon O'Donnell. Fantastic one day player but his batting or his bowling just arent quite up to test standard IMO.

He looked alright in his one test match. 45 runs, 6/98. And his first class bowling average is 24 and batting average is 32. I'd say he'd definitely be an option if not for the ridiculous depth we have in the bowling dept and the fact that they see Mitch Marsh as the better option for the all rounder slot at the moment, more than any lack of ability on his part. Statistically he's certainly a better long form all rounder than Marsh, though, who averages 29 with both bat and ball. Marsh has scored hundreds though....

fair call, I just don't think he is good enough to make it for his batting or his bowling alone which is really what you need as a test all rounder. Marsh definately has that potential.

Haddin needs to do the honourable thing and retire before the WC,he isn't playing like a man out of form he is playing like a man completely washed up.

Matt Wade needs to come into the WC squad.

LOL, only just saw this post.
Haddin might not be great but he shits all over Wade.

But when there's that much in it I think the benefit should go to the bowler. A margin that small doesn't make any difference to the wicket.

Something landed behind the line. Tight but legal, it's no good freeze framing a couple of frames after he landed.

I still think the umpires need to either have the guts to call it at the time, or too bad.

that freeze frame came from CA.
I do think that close enough should be good enough when it comes to margins that insignificant.
