Taukeiaho set to sign with Manly on a train and trial deal, same as how Nathan Brown started out this year
Good low risk moveTaukeiaho set to sign with Manly on a train and trial deal, same as how Nathan Brown started out this year
Probably time I reckon. He’s hit his ceiling with usBunty Afoa being offered to Super League clubs
Yep, no big loss. Seems like a nice bloke but feel like he got a reputation as 'off the back fence Bunty' purely on his haircut. Good defensive prop, never bent the line.Probably time I reckon. He’s hit his ceiling with us
A year ago I would have said Adam Pompey should be on the same plane, but last season he carved out a depth slot for himself - so have to give him his dues. Still has a NRL career for a bit longer.Probably time I reckon. He’s hit his ceiling with us
Yeah plus Bunty has been with the club for longer, and he doesn’t kick goals. Pompey honestly other than his lack of speed is a pretty useful all round player.A year ago I would have said Adam Pompey should be on the same plane, but last season he carved out a depth slot for himself - so have to give him his dues. Talk of Papenhuysen seriously looking at a move away from the Storm as he is now on the market
Have a feeling they wouldn’t be disappointed to spend a bit less on their spine with Fa’alogo there, and invest that money into some more forward
Dolphins seems to make the most sense, though Roosters dont play by the cap space rules (with their affinity for brown paper bags), so maybe they can fit Hunt in there too. Also Sam Walker is being reported as signing for 2 more years and that wouldnt have come cheap.Jesus lol, just listening to a podcast and Brandon Smith is on there, they are talking about Ben Hunt and Smith says Roosters could use him, the other mentioned Chad Townsend and Smith had no idea they had signed him haha, he isn’t the full quid
Manly making some good movesTaukeiaho set to sign with Manly on a train and trial deal, same as how Nathan Brown started out this year
I think he hit our doesn't suit our new Warriors style, hopefully I eat my words when they bring in another top class prop or two.Probably time I reckon. He’s hit his ceiling with us
When are we getting these main targets?dont mind it if its a depth piece signing. injury cover for metcalfe, can kick goals, bit of a kicking game. Sometimes you have to sign a few journeymen so you have the $$ for your main targets and can stay under the cap.
i was sort of referring to what we would be paying JFH a season and working back from there to stay cap compliant. I have no idea how far ahead the Warriors plan their cap strategy. Have the NRL been increasing the cap each year?I think he hit our doesn't suit our new Warriors style, hopefully I eat my words when they bring in another top class prop or two.

Yep according to this:Have the NRL been increasing the cap each year?
