Can we keep politics & homo sh@t out of league and just concentrate on playing the game itself.

I don't need the NRL to save peoples lives, I just want to watch footy. Politics has no role in sports.

Dunno. I'd agree with keep politics out of NRl but then you also gotta keep NRL out of politics (e.g., Folau voicing his anti-gay shite).

Not at all.

What Falou, Ian Roberts any person does with their personal beliefs outside of rugby league is their personal business.

Still not sure what Falou said that was so offensive?

He was asked what happens to homosexuals according to the bible.

The bible states they go to hell. He repeated that back word for word. It wasn't just an opinion it was a direct answer from written text to a direct loaded question.

PC Crowd goes mental. Not only do they not believe in a place called hell or said bible but how dare he say they go to this imaginary hell.

The thing was it wasn't his opinion. He was quoting 2000-year-old text.

Just play football and leave politics out of it. You have your opinions and I have mine.

The people who get upset the majority don't watch rugby league anyway.

So much bollocks in this post - he did not quote the Bible, everybody knows that - he posted an internet meme.

Furthermore he gave assurances to his employer that paid him handsomely, that he wouldn't do something like this again. This was the entire issue. The idiot could have said what he liked on his Sunday sermons in his daddies grifting church, but he chose to use his public social media which he used his sport profile to boost, if he hadn't have done that, and he actually had some integrity and followed through with his promise not to harm the sport then he'd still be earning his cash in Australia instead of running off to second tier rugby league.

And yes it his opinion, it's from a book, he believes that book, so he repeated it ... that's his opinion.

You want politics out of sport, talk to your boy Israel, he brought them in during this whole saga.

He has asked for a release but Sharks have told him that he will be staying put

Morris dispute keeps going despite the fact the Sharks have squashed it, both Morris brothers in the media trying to put pressure on. Angus Crichton now looking likely to start in the centres for the Roosters

McInnes gone for 2-3 months for the Dragons, Issac Luke looking a handy pickup there now. Dufty did his cheekbone in the 9s as well

NRL have today denied the player swap deal that Melbourne and the Tigers had set up
