Im an Owens fan as well as a Cowboys fan but i think Jerry did the right thing, We still have Roy Williams and i can see us picking up some young WR at the Draft.

I think Owens may end up in either Oakland or Tennessee.

But before that is even thought about NE needs some serious def work they shoulda gone hard at a guy like bart scott ... hes young and will get atleast another good 4-5 seasons out of him

Rey Maualuga - He could fit well .... if Bill can get him to just tackle the ball carrier and not actually try an kill the guy

Aaron Maybin - A Effective pass rusher who could fit into the team pretty well

I dont know whos still available in Free Agency but if theres any pro bowl Def players left id hope they have a look

A good signing by the Cowboys. He replaces the departed Canty and at a more realistic cost. Has the size required to play DE in the 3-4 defense. This means that Ratliff will stay at NT.

Also helps that Olshansky was coached by Wade Phillips when both were at San Diego.
