Trent is very mature player, all he needed in the past was someone apart from Evans, he has that now.

I expect Lynch to have a 1500 yard year this year, it will really open up our runing game also.

I don't rate Fred Jackson..sorry...I just don't haha. Lynch I agree.

Trent...yeah the more I think about it, the more I agree. He now has weapons. This season 2009 will make or break him.

But Fitzpatrick...he's crap..

We need DE/OLB or TE...so i'd be looking at Brandon Pettigrew...but...I know he wont fall till later...I really really like Brian Cushing...working class...works his arse off...a great leader. A perfect fit. But Curry would be unreal...but wont happen.

TE in the first? i dont think that would be a wise move, there are some other TE avaliable in the draft which we could nab in the second round, and also, Brandons 40 yard dash time was terrible!! 4.8 or something!!!. There are a couple of DE i'd think about drafting in the first round, i cant spell there names so i wont bother, but i think you know who i'm talking about. I wouldn't be also against the idea of drafting Crabtree if he falls to us, then trade Roscoe, that means we have someone for life after TO if he doesn't stay more then a year.

I think OLB or DE in first, TE second and G in third, the draft is flushed with good centres, not so much DE's and LB's.
Fred Jackson you dont rate? his YPC was better then Lynchs, he's a perfect change for Marshawn, i rate him highly, and he's a more then capable reciever.

Fitzpatrick? hmm dunno what to think, all i know is that Cinci's O Line last year was pathetic!!! he may be better under ours, i think he showed abit of promise.

Yeah I agree on the OLD/DE,...thats what i've said the last few posts...TE second round.

I think Pettigrew will fall in second round now.

Guard...dunno who is around in the third round.

Centres, your right there are heaps.

I dunno Fred just didn't impress me, and the opportunity to get someone like LT...would solidify that.

I don't think Crabtree will fall outside the top 10....but if we were gonna do that and get a Receiver, lets get Maclain or Heywood-Bey...genuine known speedsters.

Although Crabtree's upside is ala Larry Fitzgerald.

I still like Cushing or Okapo ... I don't like Everette Brown who they are predicting we'll take per Mock Draft...i'd rather Cushing or Mauluga

TBH I like what Terrell has said at the press conference.
The usual first year words from TO. Will take a season before the cancer sets in. One year deal is good for the Bills. If the Bills have to cut him mid-season, they just eat the cost for this season and forget they ever signed him. Meantime, they get more ESPN coverage combined than they have since the Jim Kelly era.

"I'm leaving America's team (for) North America's team," Owens said at a news conference. "This may not be the most ideal place for a lot of people, but I'm the guy. I beat to my own beat sometimes, my own thinking, my own intuition."

"That's all hearsay," Owens said. "If you look at all of the comments that have come from all of my teammates with the Cowboys, it's all been positive. Prior to that, I can't really ... I don't really want to get into it. I'll let my teammates speak highly and I think they have done that. They've spoken and they speak loudly as to what transpired."

He’s still convinced his team mates love him and he has no idea why he got cut. Yet, Newman explained to the world the other day how he started a fist fight with Witten. He truly has the I.Q. of a rock.

as for whats going on. i cant believe the eagles didnt have a bigger go for TJ. they need a big time reciever and not only that they lost Brian Dawkins.

WR really isn't the biggest need for the eagles. O Line was the big need and the've filled that with Andrews and will look to add depth in the draft. TE is a much bigger need then WR also. TJ isn't worth what he is after and clearly is only interested in the cash.

Byron Leftwich is an extremely average Quarterback. If you were looking for a good mentor for Trent, look no further than Brad Johnson. But of course, he would be a horrible back up. As you said earlier, Rex Grossman would be a great backup. When that guy plays well, he is elite.
Garcia would be a good mentor but probably isn't an option now TO is in town.

TO has played in Buffalo in that Monday night game a few years back when Romo threw 5 interceptions and we still lost.

Edwards has alot of potential, he isn't a gunslinger with a rocket arm, but he's calm, very precise and generally makes great decisions, as well as good at scrambling, a very smart QB who with the right weapons would excell, 65% was his pass completion percentage last year.

I was in Los Angeles that night watching that game, Can't believe we beat the Bills that night, we were shocking.

Anyway as a T.O and Cowboy fan i'm happy to see TO end up in Buffalo, I think he will do well in Buffalo, He will do alot better then most people think he will, He still has it, I think we may of let him go a bit early.

I didn't expect T.O. to end up with the Bills. Not sure that Owens has played a game in Buffalo before. He has previously played with three NFC teams. So unless the Eagles, 49er's or the Cowboys have played in Buffalo then the Bills fans will be seeing him live for the first time. It will be interesting to see how they take to him. Good thing for the Bills is that signed him for one season.

As for Trent Edwards who is a fine young qb, lets see how he handles Owens demands of throw me the ball.

Oct 4 1998

SF 21 @ BUF 26 Owens 4 receptions for 69 yards

Oct 8 2007

DAL 25 @ BUF 24 Owens 2 receptions for 25 yards

.

the rams release the big o, orlando pace.

a cap casualty, it gave them space to sign kearney, the former saints fb. i think the spagman will make the rams a running team and try to make bulger a nonfactor.

now this will make the rams 1st pick rather interesting. curry or a left tackle? will they move barron to lt and pick up a rt in the draft after taking curry with their 1st pick? will the lions take curry? i have to believe the spagman wants a playmaking lb.
