More importantly, if the tigers have to play Manly in the next few weeks, they may be without both Stewart brothers. What Glenn did was stupid but what Brett did, gee how dumb was that?

The judiciary committe will be busy next week thats for sure. As long as Blair is ok for round 1 next year. There could be some reprieve for whoever comes 7th and 8th playing one of these teams, andf change the complexion of the finals early on.

I mentioned in an earlier post how important i thought Blair was to Storms defence. I went to Melbourne to watch them play Saints and Blair was instrumental in directing and organising their defence, something you dont really see on TV. Their defence wasn't the same when Blair went off.

No special reason MT..just another one. They destroyed my childhood innocence when they took joe cool, boyd and brown. This is just another reason that will rekindle the hate lol.

Blair will start next season for us suspened while the golden peninsula boys will have played in the finals. Gallop wont want to be accused on Stewart bashing anymore.

If the judiciary doesn't take into consideration that Glen Stewart waited for Blair and then the 'cat like' response from Brett Stewart they will lose all credibility in my opinion. Sure, Blair will get caught up in this but both Stewarts have to go for a few weeks.

It was gutless by Manly (Girly?) The second punch-up was started by Stewart & it was one-on-one until 5 Manly grubs came flying in. Must say I was pleased to see Blair fire up. Looking forward to having him with the Tigers next year.

Re Gibbs, underated area of his game that will be missed is his defence around the ruck, he's really good around there and the Tigers will need a player to step into that role.

got to agree with you on that point,glen stewart is a grub and has been a grub for a long time .cheapshots are not a stranger to his repertoire watch him during a game knee's, elbows and the like ,he is no angel.....

G. Stewart has taken over from Watmough & is definitely now the #1 grub in the game. In fact, both Stewart brothers seem to have major chips on their shoulders in recent months & carrying on like loose canons, as they are constantly pushing the envelope & trying to see how much they can get away with.
Friday night's incident has been brewing for a while with the Stewart's & if it wasn't Blair, it would have been someone else. They just needed an excuse to try & flex their ego's & show they are bigger than the game & put it up Gallop.
It's no secret how the brothers feel about Gallop/NRL & will again say they have been victimised by the NRL, no matter what sentence is delivered. Hopefully they will grow up & get over it.

Any game the Storm or Manly are in are potential powder kegs. They both wrestle and niggle in every contest. The Storm are the kings of the grapple and the wrestle and Manly are the kings of the cheap shots and niggle.

They are both successful football teams, but they do not do much for the image of the game

Lussick is the king grub out of the mess, he should be given the biggest sentence. He threw the first punch for starters way back at the beginning and when you see the Manly players toppling over Blair you see the guy in the 14 jersey stop aim and fire a couple at Blair.

Blair might have a bit of grubbiness but that gets defenses worried. Someone to look over the shoulder for. Fulton, Dwyer, Heighington don't really have that, and although he can be grubby nor does Gibbs.

Blair adds a winning culture as well, cheating or otherwise he has still tasted success and knows what is required in big games.

Blair just got 5 weeks so thankfully he will be right for Round 1 next season...
