I dont really agree with Widders in the centres, he's too slow. Even though he plays out wide in attack. Ben Smith wouldve been a better option.

Jack Afamagasa is a flegg player, looks like hindy.

I totally agree with this team. Dykes and morris deserved to be dropped. However I hope morris can come back soon.

What I don't get is why is Armit, Moimoi, and Muckert doing in Reggies. What did they do wrong?

Muckert gave us less than nothing last week.....Fui needs to get fitter so he can play more than 10 minutes....I would have liked Armit on the bench, but Kaufusi gives us more impact.

Hopefully Smith sticks with these youngsters and we can build a fresh competative team for next season (with a new coach (john cartwright))

I like it. Good to see a shake up. Jack Arma... is a flegg player that really takes it up hard, rewarded for good performances. Now we'll see what these young guys can do.

I would like to see Mateo in place of Muspratt! Start hopkins at Hooker and Mateo at lock with Webster on the bench!

If you're going to have Widders anywhere in the team, you may as well have him in the centres. He runs so wide that he barely leaves enough room for a winger outside him, let alone a centre. The pairing of Widders/Burt might actually work okay.

However, given Widders lack of impact and woeful metres/run last week and Ben Smith's regular try scoring as a specialist centre, I would have also preferred to see Widders in PL, and giving Ben Smith with a run in FG this week.

i wouldnt mind seeing Graham get a run at FB, i think that Mckinnon has been doing a great job but he can also achieve what he is doing now on the wing.

After reading that Dykes found being beaten by 31 against a Premier league side hilariously funny I'm pleased he's been dropped. I'm not sorry to read that he's gone from first grade for good.

I don't know what to make of the side. At least Smith is finally starting to do something about people not putting in. Doesn't explain Vella, but he is due for a good game this week so it seems a shame to waste it in PL ;-)
I'm Looking forward to seeing Brett anderson, Afamagasa and hopefully Mateo in action.

Smith needs to pick a halves combination and stick to it. I'm please Witt has been called up and I'm looking forward to seeing him and Thorman in action together.

Smithy should turn selection arvo into the boardroom.

Wags goes into his office with two other players who he felt contributed to the loss.

He takes in Ash Graham who says 'i don't deserve to go because Adam didnt pass the ball'. Wags says 'I should stay because I played for St George in a past life' and Dykes says 'but the field aint wide enough'

Smith thinks about it, consults with Fitzy and Ovo, sitting either side of him before he says:

'its tough this week, but Adam Dykes - your fired'

Sell the TV rights to it. Make of for the loss of revenue due to poor crowds. Maybe pay per view

Finally Witt is here!!!!! In my humble opinion Witt may be Smith's long term solution at number 6, with either Tim Smith or Thorman as the long term number 7.

We should all make an extra special effort to get out there and cheer the young boys on (Witt, Anderson, Afamagasa, Mateo & Graham) as they've basically been thrown straight into the firing line in the least ideal circumstances. They deserve as much supprt as we can give them as they're not to blame for the piss weak performances over the last 4 weeks.

LET'S GET OUT THERE AND CHEER THEM ON!

Yeah but Donald Trump is successful, Smith is not!

Brett Anderson & Jack Afamasaga in the 17 with Mateo listed as #18

very good to see these 3 youngesters given a go they all deserve it and all 3 started the year in Flegg.

Not many wraps (on this board) for Jack but assuming he plays he won't let anyone down. Very tough & he plays like Vella should

I can't beleive that Widders got a run at centre ahead of Ben Smith though. Don't get me wrong Widders is a very good player and plays wide enough when on to be considered a centre just that I would have really liked to have seen Smith get a run

maybe he is an unlisted 19th player cause he can't be much further off making the top grade only 2 things I can see as to why he wasn't named

1) He is on standby if Anderson can't backup from the under 19's game
2) Coach Smith already having named Mateo, Afamasaga & Anderson in the team didn't want 4 players debutants in the same side.

If Dykes doesn't play 1st grade for Parra ever again I'll be happy

His laugh may have cost his contract
