A bullocking run from Lasalo gets play going before Kelly finds some space for Morgan down the right.

Wyong do well to wrap the ball up but having given up so many metres end up finding themselves in possession 10m out from their line.

Our makers scramble to make up the numbers but the damage is down as Wyong crash over outwide.

Wyong have clawed their way back into this game after Wenty opened up an eighteen point lead.

The conversion is waved away.

Vai Toutai is unlucky not to draw a penalty after a good carry. Issaic Maliota powers through some defenders up the middle to give Wenty decent position for a kick.

Kelly is unable to capitalise though a runs a weak kick through to the Wyong winger.

Lasalo belts a Wyong runner as Wenty defend solidly. Wyong regain the momentum with a clever kick into our left corner that sees Cummins fly across and have to fight his way from the sideline from three chasers.

He does well and next play Wenty pick up a penalty for defenders infringing inside the 10m.

Some second phase play sees Toutai with a little bit of space and be bumps a number of defenders off before finally succumbing to the defence to bring up the last.

Kelly places an accurate bomb towards to the posts and Wenty clean up the dropped ball from Wyong for another set. They fails to complete this set though as a short ball doesn't go to hand.

Wenty compound the turnover with a penalty that brings Wyong to halfway.

Great tackle from Matapuku stops a dangerous dart from dummy half but Wyong proves themselves to be adept at earning repeat sets yet again on the next play as another kick pins Wenty ingoals.

Faraimo shuts down a backline move as he comes in off his wing and makes an important tackle. The defensive pressure builds as Wenty look for a counter-punch and force an error from Wyong.

Wenty pick up a penalty for strip and Kelly finds touch 10m short of halfway.

Wenty spread it early to Morgan but Wyong track him well and pull him down out wide.

The Magpies push it back to the other edge but Cummins can't find space to move and takes the tackle.

Ben Jones is on (so Foran was the one dropped) and fires the ball from dummy half out down the shortside to Pewhairangi and he does very well to create a 2-on-1 for Faraimo and put him over for another try.

Kelly strikes the far upright to miss his first conversion and the eight point lead.

Tui gets well involved this set with two carries early on, the second of which is a very good run.

Wenty kick it on halfway and Kelly stabs it into the corner deftly. A good kick chase brings the ball down 11m out from the Wyong goal line.

Straight forward set from Wenty. There looked to be a chance down the right but Kelly's pass to Cummins was slightly off the mark and allowed the defence to shoot on the fullback.

Kelly made amends next play with a good kick that found touch 10m out from the Wyong goal line.

Some enterprising second phase play from Wyong sees them have a crack at our goal line with a kick but Morgan soars high and claims the ball for a 20m restart.

Kelly bombs it to the left on the last and Faraimo leaps up and takes it. The ball fell short of the goal line though and Bureta tunnels the ball out to support. Hunt loops around and finds the ingoals and indeed, a line drop out with a second kick.
