Oh my...awful, awful stuff from Wenty now.

We are caught napping down our right edge shortside and Koroibete scorches past Faraimo.

Rawalui comes to meet him but Mitchell Moses has pushed up in support and takes an easy pass from his winger to go on and score under the posts.

The conversion is successful.

Wests Tigers extend their lead over Wenty to 24-0

This time is it is Wests who benefit from an obvious forward pass.

They roll the dice on the last and decide to run it but after nearly getting caught down our right, their runner flings it away - quite obviously forward - where it is picked up by another Tiger who makes a break down our flimsy right edge.

He kicks on his inside where none other than Mitchell Moses is there in support to gather up the ball and score for his hat trick.

The conversion is successful.

It feels like the first set in ages that Wests have simply completed with out points and it is a excellent one despite that.

After rumbling Wenty up the middle they find touch 10m out from Wenty's tryline, giving the despondent Magpies plenty of work to do.

Wenty manage to complete their set but it is done poorly with Ben Jones trying to chip in behind for himself.

The Tigers have no troubles cleaning the ball up and now have a great chance to crack us open once more.

They very nearly do so via Brendan Santi who steps through some jersey grabs but can't hit his support with a legal pass.

The forward pass brings an end to a very one-sided first half.

Our right edge began well enough today, with Folau making a great run to put us in the box-seat to score and the whole edge defending the early attacking patterns of the Tigers comfortably initially.

After the Rawalui mistake that brought about the opening points of the game it all fell apart.

Our left edge is practically catching a cold with Matterson, Edwards and Goodall all doing solidly in their limited opportunities but failing to make an impact on the game due to the overwhelming weight of possession the Tigers have had.

There are hitups for Alvaro and Edwards before a Luke Kelly mistake brings the horrors of the first half fresh to mind.

The Tigers surprise no one as they punish us for the error.

At least it took a damn good ball from their fullback Jy Hitchcox as he drew Goodall and somehow managed to get a ball around the corner to Corey Brown who score out wide.

The conversion is successful.
