Edwards runs hard and has ball handling skills. just set up that try. POH might play in the middle but he is runs like a girl, and gets dominated just about every hit up. How Edwards hasn't had a crack this season is beyond me.

Sorry, I thought you were asking how O'Hanlon started this game ahead of Edwards.

I agree Edwards is a much better player, and as Stagger pointed out, it must be a salary cap issue.

Although, if they're contracted to the club then they're already included under the cap. I don't see how we're unable to play him. Otherwise what's the point of signing these guys?

Cheers mate, he looks much more promising then some like Williame.

It is funny you say that, as Wiliame (along with Pewairanghi) were comfortably the best backs for Wenty before getting the call up. I think their struggles are more symptomatic of how little confidence our first grade team has, even when compared to a struggling Wenty outfit (Wiliame is also a centre playing wing, which doesn't help).

True, i just think Edwards should of got a chance well before the 2nd tier cap became a problem. Ryan offers SFA at this level also. Manu Mau also looked good early, Lasalo and the young centre but i won't try and spell his name

Turns 20 later this year. Stagger might know where we stand with him and his contract.

I keep pestering Stagger about this guy as well. Apparently he's still unsigned for next year, but if we're playing him in NSW Cup we must care about his development. I hope we're not developing him for some other club. He also has some leadership ability, having captained the under 20s this year.

He could end up a first grader one day, and we are light on for wingers.

Totally agree. Any outside back would look terrible in our NRLback line.

True, Wingers always struggle in crap teams.

Hereketukutuku attacks down the left edge but looks for the inside pass instead of looking to potentially go for an overlap.

Wenty come back right and catch Manly short out wide but Moeakiola backs himself over his support and loses the ball in a three man tackle over the line.

Hereketukutuku proves to be better at our end of the field as he takes a nice catch under pressure.

Edwards is on fire! Another massive run as he leaves bodies strewn across the field.

Edwards again, if he couldn't offer more than we have in first grade i'm a bad judge. Poor finish again, waters is a massive plodder.

Poor kick from Parata...it is comfortably fielded on the full ingoals by Manly. Wenty have really been hurt by a lack of decent halves this year.

Hahaha oh man I think Ben Smith was the last one I saw penalised for this! Manly penalised for a player involved in an attacking play when he was infront of the play-the-ball.

It doesn't mean much though as Wenty give the ball up immediately.
