More fortune for Wenty as Manly bat back an attacking bomb and Wenty JUST clean it up before some flying Manly support can get there first.

Once again Parata skews a kick off the right side of his boot and it goes just over the Manly winger and into touch.

Hahaha, I'm not sure what was worse there...the kick from Parata or the Manly guy who panicked and nearly played at it!

There is good pressure on Chisholm on the last but he finds Gutherson who ends up bombing Fritz who is able to hold onto it this time.

There are good runs from Moeakiola and Edwards this set before Lasalo shows some quick hands to put Howard into space.

We don't prosper on the last though as we roll in a grubber mid field that is cleaned up by Manly.

Edwards is an edge forward, whereas O'Hanlon plays up the middle.

Edwards runs hard and has ball handling skills. just set up that try. POH might play in the middle but he is runs like a girl, and gets dominated just about every hit up. How Edwards hasn't had a crack this season is beyond me.

Wenty 4 - Manly 6

Wenty are bloody lucky to be only be down by 2. Manly have had a lot of attacking chances with some good field position but have not converted it into a big lead.

In typical fashion Wenty gave away too much ball with soft mistakes. They have had no trouble rumbling Manly up the middle or out wide as they continue to make good metres in most sets but like Manly, they too have struggled to put any finishing touches on good chances.

Wenty were well served by Manu Mau and Takai Moeakiola on the right edge in the first 40m but the key player thus far is Ken Edwards who has caused Manly some serious problems since subbing on for Mau.

At the start of the year Stagger told us Lasalo was being shifted to the front row. So weight gain would have been a big part of that.
