Lawton looks to catch Wenty napping around the ruck but the 1-2 defenders are awake.

Wenty take a poor kick from Manly and ruck it out.

Edwards takes 4 to pull him down on the right edge before Wenty go back to the left.

Poor kick and chase from Wenty before Edwards rattles the runner with a good shot.

Alas Wenty give away a penalty, once more for offside defenders.

Manly to resume play near halfway.

Manly should have gone through the hands there, in my opinion! Thought they had numbers but instead they roll in a grubber which is chased hard by Farrar but just rolls dead.

Seriously, another weak kick from Parata. Manly easily clean up his kick 12m out from their line and then look to work it out.

We have lost so much pressure due to these kicks.

Fritz is pinged for a loose carry, a hint of a strip on the replay but the calls has been made.

Big set of defence for Wenty here as Manly should have a full set in Wenty's half.

Edwards runs hard and has ball handling skills. just set up that try. POH might play in the middle but he is runs like a girl, and gets dominated just about every hit up. How Edwards hasn't had a crack this season is beyond me.

Do you reckon it might be because Edwards hasn't been very consistent this season? And I think he may have got sent off once too (could be wrong). This is by far the best he's played in any of the TV games.

Nice offload by a Manly forward generates some second phase play but the Wenty defendrs are awake on the left.

Manly shift to the right with a long cut out but once again Wenty cover well. On the last they chip it midfield but Parata falls back to take it nicely.

That is a poor call against Wenty.

We are pinged for tackling the defender in the air on an attacking bomb but they both had eyes for the ball.

This is the 3rd Wenty game i have seen and he has been our best forward every time. 40 would be the best to ask.

Another mistake from Wenty!

Manly dart down the short side and chip the ball behind the defensive line.

Gilbert is there before the chasers but he is under immense pressure...and the ball stays low to boot and he loses it.

Manly scrum 30 odd metres out from our line.

In the next set there is some desperate defence on our left edge, with Parata making a good tackle. Manly then go our right but we hold them out again!

They kick it to our left edge on the last. We have a jumper but he contests it poorly and knocks it back ingoals where Manly jump on it for what looks to be a try! But the ref calls the Manly chasers off side!

Oh man, bullets were dodged there!
