He didn't play because it took him longer than expected to pen his name. Last reports were that he was up to the r in 'Edwards'. Won't be long now...

Did some looking around, sounds like Edwards got injured during the Manly game, Wenty's last game before Sunday's one. So it seems he prob was injured and that's why he did not play. Alot better than not showing up to training!
