Norths find Pewairanghi with their kick and he brings it back to our 20m line.

The Bears roll a shallow grubber in, early in their set as the cross into Wenty's half.

Norths retrieve the ball and Pewairanghi attempts the tackle but there is support for the Bears player and he offloads to #14 who goes in under the posts.

Huge metres for the Bears as they march their way to our 30m line from the kick off but hoist an ineffective kick on the last.

Wenty come down with the ball and come away shortly after with a penalty, giving them a much needed piggy back down the field.

Sandow rolls out to the right but he is carefully shadowed by the defensive line and roped in eventually.

Wenty turn the ball over and the Bears punish them as the make a lightning quick 50m to go on the attack yet again.

Oh dear, the ref has waved six again for a reason that I didn't see and Norths get another set in our red zone.

They shift to their right-edge but their is a poor pass that doesn't find the intended recipient. No worries for the Bears though because as you so often see, the loose ball results in a try!

Wenty held back with tinges of indecision as the ball hit the turf but the sweeping #5 for Norths had no hesitation in cleaning it up and cross for a try.

The conversion is good.

Norths lead Wenty 26-6

Norths rumble us down the middle again to be in position for another aggressive kick but Pewairanghi is able to defuse the bomb.

Wenty pick up another penalty to take them into the Bear's half but it amounts to zilch as we turn the ball over immediately.

Not sure if the Bears realised that it was the last as they run the ball and get caught on our 20m line for a simple turnover.

Sandow shoots for a second 40/20 and has the #5 beaten for timing and position but the ball breaks in field.

Norths return serve as they find space down our right-edge and put us on the backfoot before Wenty give away a desperate penalty for a twn-man strip.

The ref points towards the posts as the Bears indicate they will attempt the penalty goal.

Norths then went back-to-back as both Luke Burgess and Curtis Johnson scored their doubles.

We manage to trouble the scorers again as #17 crashes over to the right of the posts.
