Wenty manage to cross halfway from the kickoff set, with Sandow looking to generate space down the right edge. The Bears cover well and it comes to the last tackle where Sandow chips for himself. He can't regather the ball but Wenty earn a penalty none-the-less to give them another attacking opportunity.

This time the weight of possession and territory amounts to nothing as the Bears come away with a 20m restart.

Koriasau throws a big dummy to the left and steps back to the right and cuts straight through the line before halfway. He is finally reigned in 10m out from our line.

Wenty manage to hold on as the Bears lose the ball before receiving another penalty that takes them past half way.

Pritchard looks to spark something down the left-edge short side but the Bears are there in numbers, however they concede another penalty.

Pewairanghi attacks the same short side and gets away a nice offloaf but once again the Bears scramble well.

Having stacked defenders to that side due to the last few plays, Sandow calls for the ball on the other side of the field. Wenty pass crisply and Sandow fires a cut-out to Gilbert who goes in and away to beat two defenders and create an overlap. The defence slides to the unmarked man so Gilbert dives over himself.

Sandow hits the conversion from out wide.

Wenty are starting to look confident in attack at they pressure the Bears again.

After crossing halfway on the kick off set, Sandow looks to attack again, linking up with a straight running #17. He nearly breaks through and looks to link up with Gilbert but they are just out of sync and the ball is lost.

The Bears get a penalty 10m out from Wenty's goal line.

Oh my, another soft try! Somehow the Bear's forward has managed to plant the ball over the line a midst at least three Wenty defenders.

Not sure who scored but that was piss-weak.

Koraisau hits yet another conversion.

The Bears have hit back and lead 46-24

Some fast, strong carries directed towards our left-edge suck in a number of defenders and after a quick play-the-ball, the Bears are able to find us short down the same short-side as they cross yet again to bring up the half century.

The conversion just has the legs from the sideline.

Norths lead Wenty 52 - 24

A lovely interchange of passes up the middle of the field has us reeling as Koriasau continues to torment our piggies.

We can't keep them down and they hit our left-edge again to cross for the millionth time.

Money is on Koriasau to nail this.

Sandow-lol see if brisbane will swap for wallace-lets end this nightmare

Um why, it seems that most of our attacking opportunities have come from Sandow today, can't blame him for the rest of the team having soft defence and the class of Norths. Like it or not, Sandow is the best halfback at our club this year and so far next year.

Sandows been solid, he's tried hard but as normal when you play in a very bad side the 7 gets targeted and blamed..

Hahaha, Koriasau puts another man through a gap but we manage to pull them down somehow.

Norths then attack down our right-edge for once and Sandow comes agonisingly close to an intercept but just misses to make us short.

We seem to have killed the play despite missing Sandow in the line but the Bear's player gets away an absolute miracle of an offload and #5 nearly drops it in shock before regathering and crossing next to the posts.

Koriasau has no problems adding the two points.

The full time siren rings out on that note.

Sandow normally defends on the right edge, was he still on the right side today?

EDIT: Im guessing from the last post he was on the right.

I thought we might have tried him out on the left to see if he could be a direct swap for Roberts.
